Do you know the exact diameter of the CF rod? I want to replace mine with alimunum, brass, or steel but worry that I might get a size that is too large which might damage the bearing. I tried measuring it and it seems somewhere near 8 and 8.5mm (my tool is not very precise), and asked Axel/Zaurko but am waiting for a reply.

Axel custom is so under rated. I found them about a year or 2 ago and their products are outstanding and well printed. I love their kt adapters and that scar you talk about is such a simple idea I'm shocked no one has done it before. I got videos on both on my channel 😉

As a customer who bought from them in 2024 I can confirm that they don't disappoint. Their print quality is very refined and they have good customer support/communication. Although their products don't have the option for printing in different colors for specific components, I think you can request them to do so (I asked for this but they said they had already printed the items)

Just put a picatinny optic on the rail, over the two connecting pieces, and the wobble is gone. 4 strips of blue masking tape, on each notch, will remove the magazine adapter wobble.
