Its the same species in deadlands (Heart of Darkness: Tower o' Terror). Since it was hinted on Deadlands classics. and during Hell on earth when hellstromme went to space with The Arc, he used the knowledge they left in Devil's Tower to go to Banshee.

Not seen the original Cowboy Bebop? HERESY! That's like seeing the Star wars prequels, and never seeing the originals.

Rules for Stampedes? Here ya go... www.drivethrurpg.com/product/57061/Savage-Worlds-Handbook-Perilous-Places--Serious-Situations (It's not been updated for SWADE yet, but it's still quite useful, as very little would need to be done to update it anyway!)

Hey Kurt - Stampedes are on p11 of Blood Drive, the new SWAdE Deadlands edition. As far as your denizens of the Devil's Tower, there's a PEGinc Kickstarter, starts today (15th Feb) at high noon EST, called 'Hell on the High Plains' that might have some of the continuity you're alludin' to ;)

It is neat you are active again. I thought you quit videos. Also there is a rule in the base game for stampedes i believe, so could carry that over.

In the first pass at Lost Colony, the events took place at roughly the same time as Hell on Earth and the aliens in HoE Reloaded was meant to be the nod to that fact.

I went all-on on the Kickstarter for this and then my group fell apart. Well, not quite fell apart, we just don't meet enough for a campaign. I need to maybe pull together some one-shots.

Please…PLEASE watch the original Cowboy Bebop. Please. It is not even on the same level as the live action. The genre blending, the music, the episodic story, the characters. Just enjoy it.

I love Lost Colony. It has the absolute best Signature Character of all the Deadlands settings: Colonial Ranger/Guardian Debbie Dallas... so named because her Marine father saw a movie once.

Currently running LC. Two of the three PCs died destroying Pestilence and the lone PC (a Guardian) has Raven’s tomahawk, working towards bashing War in the face. I’ve greatly modified the book’s campaign and it has been amazing! I plan on Anouks being on HoE to help Earth. Oh, a Harrowed psyker is NASTY! 😁

I feel the need to say this about Anime up front. I don't like it. Sorry, I realize thats blasphemy and my cost me viewers and friends but its a fact. Growing up in (very) rural Ohio my sole exposure to Anime consisted of Voltron (Vehicles all the way) and Robotech. Which I enjoyed until a college roommate had to yell at me that I has the temerity to watch the episodes out of order (Hey FOX 45 out of Dayton was my only hook up, OK?) Oh and Transor-Z and the "Rocket punch" of Minerva X. Which did absolutely nothing for me. Should have been a clue. Fast forward to September 1991 in Bowling Green KY where I'm sitting in a theater to watch Akira for the first time and I'm treated to a pre ((and during and post))-show of two guys SCREAMING at each other that we were going to watch the movie all wrong didn't help matters. I respect the artists. I repeat (most) of the fans. Clearly theres something there I'm missing but its just not for me.

I've seen both the anime and live action versions of "Cowboy Bebop", and I, too, MUCH preferred the latter. Why? Because it's not anime.
@03dashk642 жыл бұрын
….I am so sorry. Anime is just a presentation. I can understand not liking animation, but I’d recommend giving the anime a real chance. the anime has so much more characterization, drama, and soul. The live action is a cheap rehash made by someone who does not understand the source material. It really felt like a cheap cash grab.

This reply makes a few assumptions. One is that I don't know what anime is; another, that I haven't seen the original version of the series; a third, that my preferences are somehow deserving of pity. The first is incorrect. I've been aware of anime (by which I mean Japanese animation) since roughly 1978. In the intervening years, I've watched a lot of it, and even have some favorites. Those favorites are few, and in fact, they're favorites *despite* the fact that they're anime. The second assumption is demonstrably incorrect. Reference the thesis of my originating comment. The third assumption continues the trend. I'm in my late 40s; I've seen a lot of animation, I've had plenty of exposure to different styles and techniques and aesthetics and such. By this advanced and decrepit age, I've also developed likes and dislikes. I like what I like, for my reasons, and I've earned them. I'm a big boy. No need to be "sorry". I'm okay, trust me.
