I don’t know if anyone’s pointed this out yet (or if anyone cares), but here’s the trick behind Arin’s “Denmark, Kangaroo, Orange” mind magic: Multiply a number by 9 and add the resulting digits together. Any number multiplied by 9 has a product where the digits add up to 9. Subtract 5 from that number and find the equivalent letter - You always get 4, or D. Denmark is one of two countries that starts with the letter D. The other is Djibouti, which no one would guess at first. Think of an animal that starts with the last letter of that country: Kangaroo is the most obvious animal starting with the letter K. Think of a fruit that starts with the last letter of that animal. Orange is the only fruit that starts with O. It isn’t designed to always come up with the same answer (you could also get something like “Denmark, Koala, Apple”), but “Denmark, Kangaroo, Orange” is the most likely set of answers
