@@Shanespeed2000 ah yes, the tournament rules that the creator of the game said is not how you play the game. If you have to disable 90% of the features for a "fair" fight you're doing it wrong. Smash has elements of a fighting game insofar that punches and kicks are present. Street fighter, tekken, KOF, blaze blue etc, all have the 1 player vs 1 player, no items and an actual fighting system with combos and thought put into their button layout. Meanwhile smash players just cheese their victories because they can't hack it in real fighting games.
