Game markers and playing aids..

A work desk update featuring casualty markers, more Peter Pig AWI's and Iron Fist 15mm English Civil War horse and Generals. Also a bit of a plug for my long established painting service!

Grand job. Interesting to see the Peter Pig figures painted up. I have both Peter Pig's ACW and ECW and so was seriously looking at PP to start an AWI collection but ended up choosing Pendraken because they were more flexible in accommodating special requests at the time. PP knocked me back, Pendraken said 'yes' (don't know what PP are like now, btw) and so the order was placed with them. I'm happy with my Pendraken AWI figures but, after seeing yours, would also have been happy with PP.

Love the casualty markers! Great work! Also like the matching dice, red/blue.. I did that with me ACW sets using blue and gray Dixie Dice, and Chessex red, blue, white for my various other sets/periods. I think it adds to the overall feel of the games. Have fun and be well.

All nicely done and I like the idea of leaving casualty markers behind. Are the AWI gloss or satin varnished?

Hi Norm and thank you for the comment. I'm sticking with my usual satin varnish for these but the casualty markers look a bit shiny probably because I gave them a heavy coat to take the handling possibly.. I'm toying with the idea of WoR next inspired by your good self :) Peter Pig make lovely figures and it would work well on this small table, been watching some DBMM videos! Strangely enough it's a period that I have never painted before. Cheers, Lee

@@legrambo Hi Lee, I have had Peter Pig WoR and can highly recommend the. I like your satin coating as it increases vibrancy.
