What’s the best way to go about learning how to make music with no background?

@@BladeNgames tricky question, to be honest. I would personally recommend starting off with GarageBand if you have an Apple device. I don’t really know any other GarageBand alternatives for Android, but you can look it up if you want. When I first started (I’m talking about GarageBand now) I was just messing with the drum sequencer and making random patterns, and eventually I started to learn more about the software and integrated other instruments as well, like keyboard, guitar and bass. To be honest, i don’t even know music theory. I sometimes use autoplay, which basically plays a melody on any instrument on its own and it usually sounds really good. Generally, to make a good piece of music, you need several instruments (like drums, keyboard, bass, and guitar) and some chords. I usually use minor chords just because they sound good, but you can use either major or minor. I can’t really speak from experience here, because before I learnt GarageBand, I was learning keyboard (piano) off of KZbin tutorials for lots of years, and I did classical guitar for a year as well. Right now I’m learning drums, which has got to be my favourite instrument, but all of this is in real life, so it’s not produced in GarageBand out any other program.
