Because Jan is lazy, most probably. But yeah, I agree. The 4 C pawns were enough to warrant the most interesting game of the day, and afterwards, the crazy, super sharp tactical mess that followed. What a crazy game that was to watch.

I was fairly surprised by 32.Rxf4. Rb7+ stroke me as more logical getting the connected passers. I guess a7 is weak anyways and you rather take the strong advanced f-pawn that might help generating counterplay for Black?! Can someone elaborate?

Black is a pawn down in your line but has all kinds of position compensation like his good King and clump of kingside pawns.
