Richard had a very decent position! But his ...d3 wasn't a good choice. It transformed the bad piece Nb3.to a powerful one, because it suddenly got a prominent outpost on d4! Good analysis again by the mighty Peter Svidler! Thanks for that!

You are right that under a video in English people wait to see comments in English. And actually I didn't have any strong idea when decided to write in Russian. But Pyetr's native language is still Russian and many other viewers of this video are Russians, so I just decided to write that message so in case they see it. And indeed you missed nothing by not understanding it. Btw, I have no idea what "medium beind words" are.

Interesting to compare this analysis by that provided by Danny King on PowerPlayChannel. In general Svidler's analysis is aimed at a higher rated audience, it feels to me, however an interesting idea DK shows is that if 17.Qxd6, then 18...Qxd6 19 Rxd6 Be5 rather than 19...Ba6 which is potentially the point of 15...d3.

It's a shame that this bold style of play tends to get punished at the highest levels. Maybe it's just the nature of the game.
