Canonically erlang is wukong's sworn brother in journy to the west and the only one who can go toe to toe against wukongs strength (thus game takes place after the journey to the west)

when you transform into the fire dog, you dont want to spam heavy attack, youll get much more mileage from building up your meter with light attacks and then using forward dodge heavy attack to do his overhead slam special attack. the regular heavy attack is just for gap closing.

the Circlet that made Wukong fall in the beginning is a limiter the gods put on him before he began his journey to the west, it was supposed to be taken off after he completed the journey, but this shows the court never truly trusted Wukong even after everything

Its great that you mentioned Luffy being inspired from Wukong, most people only ever bring up Goku while forgetting Oda literally named Luffy 'MONKEY' 😂 Infact his debut appearance of bursting out of a barrel is a straight-up reference to Wukong's birth where he bursts out from a rock. Many 90's shounen protag were heavily inspired by Wukong, even Naruto is known for his clone technique.

@@davobands ​​⁠ I very STRONGLY recommend that you completely explore the entire area before finishing the Final Boss of an area. Not only are there multiple boss fights that help you Boost Exp, but you also can get more transformations. Also there are multiple Pill Boxes and Chests around. The Pill Boxes can either upgrade Stamina or Health and the Chests have items needed to make new Armor and Staffs. Trust me when I say that you'll eventually need to get as High of a Level as Possible so that you have upgraded your Stats and Skills as well as need as Good Armor as Possible. The Bosses only get Harder and Harder from here. Like it gets to the point that the Final Boss of Chapter 2 would instantly Fold Black Bear from Chapter 1. Like its not even a contest. The Main Character would one shot Black Bear by the time he makes it to Chapter 2's final Boss. Hell by the end of Chapter 5 if every previous Boss teamed up against you, you should be able to One Shot all of them easily. Thats how far this scaling goes if you explore good enough and have the best Gear and have all of the Skills and Stats as High as Possible. Btw in Chapter 5 you will end up being able to Fight a Boss that helps you get The Secret Ending to the Game. It is VERY important that you find him. So if you want Spoilers to get to the Boss im more than willing to guide you without telling you who you Fight.
