I hope you get well soon. But be careful with the comment section. Most people know how to behave, but there are always those who don't think about what they're talking about and spoil things. GoT is a show in which spoilers can mess up your experience a lot.

Arya is a gem. Her chapters in the books were always a delight to read. She does have the blood of the wolf and is a free spirit. Maisie was phenomenal. She has the most expressive eyes

At about 16:00: I think the point Thorne is trying to make is: "The training is so hard because you have to become a lot tougher to survive beyond the wall. Avoiding the harshness during training will leave you unprepared when you have to go there." I am not sure whether beating someone up who has already surrendered will prepare them any better, but I can see his point of view.

Samwell Tarley is no coward; he believes it because, until Jon Snow, everyone has believed it of him. kerk

He is quite literally a coward in every sense of the word in the beginning of the story. Just because he grew out of it doesn’t me he never was

Hi Lipps, I like your reaction vids because you make it about the show, and not about you. Imo, Arya is the best character, followed by Jon. The seasons keep getting better and better and I envy the fact that for you, the story is just beginning. Keep watching for there is a lot of entertainment ahead. Enjoy.

Don't worry about being fooled by the Lannisters in the beginning! We're shown things as an audience that reveal how awful they are, but they do put up a front (and people in this type of society hold the crown in reverence, so they're like on another level in the public eye). People are really cruel to Sansa and call her stupid for how she is, but she thinks exactly the way you thought (with the added layer of puppy love in Joff's case). Also, Littlefinger telling Sansa the story of the mountain and the hound is really strange, you're right to point that out. In the books, the hound gets drunk and tells Sansa the story himself while he's escorting her back to the castle later on. It's actually a really sad scene, I understand they cut some things for time but I wish they kept that one as it was.

I actually will have to apologize to Sansa in a few episodes ☠️☠️☠️ I ragged on her a bit in an upcoming episode. She is a little bit of a stark outlier in regard to how the rest of the sharks act but she is just who she needs to be. And I am hopeful she will blossom beautifully.

@@LippsReactsIt's easy to get the frustration at her too, honestly. Teenagers are insufferable at times, especially when it comes to first crushes. I remember thinking I was gonna marry the guy I was dating at 16 😂 Sansa has more of her mother in her than the other kids imo. Less Stark, more Tully.

How is it turning her on? Uhm, talking about dragons was having a certain physical effect on him. The part of him being affected was in contact with a certain part of the woman in the tub. And so lady Stark just caused 75% of the stuff thats going to happen over the next 7.5 seasons. LOL. Lady Stark is a smart woman that thinks with her emotions. Not a good combination in this world.

1:20 You said you are emotionally sensible. Yeah, it'S kinda scary, it'll be difficult and painful at times. Every feeling worth having. You will feel a lot of things that won't ever happen to you and doesn't influence your real life. Have them, feel the pain, care for the characters. You'll grow from it and won't ever feel such investment again in a show. It'S worth having.

I love how George RR Martin r writes all of his characters but absolutely love how he wrote Jon. Jon is such a good dude and it’s written in such a great way that doesn’t come off as obnoxious or obvious. Like they write him as a genuinely amazing human being as opposed to writing him like a typical generic good guy protagonist hero type. It’s all about the quality of writing with this show

Tyrion wouldn't be so stupid to lend his dagger for killing Bran. No motive at all and he's the smart one - unless it's double bluff; but that would be too smart for his own good...

You are quite right that this series is a huge investment but for the most part, it is well worth it. I love doing puzzles and I easily visualize this series (book & tv) as a giant 2000 piece puzzle received in a blank box. You have no idea what the end result will look like but each piece of the puzzle is a small scene or conversation. The corners and edge pieces pretty much get completed with season 1, where the framework of the series is completed and then you have to sort through through the truth and the straight up lies to find out how the real picture reveals itself. Have a good time…you seem to be doing very well paying attention to the “details” but never assume that just because someone said a certain thing, that it is the unvarnished truth 😉

Just because someone says a thing, doesn't make it true. Most people wouldn't admit to a thing, but they may try and blame it on someone else. And who better to blame a thing on than someone you don't like. Just a true to life hard truth. Great insight from you, to be sure. Can't wait for the next one, then the next, and so on and so on it goes!

Don't forget it was Littlefinger who told Ned and Catelyn that the weapon used by the would be assassin was his and that he'd won it from Tyrion and then had it stolen, and as Littlefinger said to Ned in this episode, distrusting him was the wisest thing Ned had done since he arrived at King's Landing, so Littlefinger is clearly playing his own game, though to what end I will not say, because that would be spoiling it for you.
