Not saying this to sound like an ass but I just wanted to inform those of you who aren't familiar with the channel that tend to sound off more in the comments. We have been working on these vids + Rick and Morty for well over 24 hours now. Sorry about the talking from me, seriously. I really think next time I need to just stop myself whenever I feel a genuine human emotion. That way it'll be easier when I edit overnight on no sleep since I will have saved my energy. I'm basically just a robot anyway and not a human person. But on a serious note: I get it guys. I really do need to shut my fucking mouth sometimes. Sorry, I just can't help it. I love and look forward to this show so much that I end up looking/acting so extra on camera. I'll be off the couch next week because I legit just need a break and will be back for the finale. This is not solely because of the reaction as I'd like to just spend some time with my family that I neglect seeing often so I can make this channel work. True although I wouldn't just single out the normies because they probably rewatch it and will see it then. However it seems that 90% of the youtube reactors I've watched have missed this as well. To me it was clear as day how much Dany cares about Jon because of her face when Jon suggested he was going north of the wall, especially in contrast to her not caring much about Jorah going. That's the face of someone falling in love and Emilia was fantastic in her scenes this episode.

No one is forced to follow a queen who murders your family. What Olenna did is right and logical. The Tarly's instead chose to betray her, kill their own people and follow Cersei Lannnister (who are also usurpers of the throne). The origin of Daenerys' army has nothing to do with it. The throne is a Targaryen Dynasty throne.

Randyll is definitely a bad guy in general, but he is a loyal commander as well! He decided to uphold his oath to the Crown and stuck to it till the end.. I would argue that he died a hero's death! Infact Randyll fought for Aerys Targaryen during Robert Rebellion and he was the only one to defeat Robert in a battle! Even during that time, he supported the Crown (Targaryens held the Crown at that time). You see, most characters in GoT are not one dimensional heroes or villains, their motivations are complex!

I can understand why people didn't like the way how Randyl and Dickon died (even I agree it was going a little too far), but I do feel it was something that needed to be done on Daenerys's part. She needed to show force and strength to the people, especially to her enemies. No one complained when Jon executed men (including a child) for disobey/betraying him. No one complained when Ned executed that one dude in the first episode. And everyone is fine with Jaime now, despite throwing a kid out the window. Even Tyrion has done things that are pretty brutal. Or how about when the Brotherhood Without Banners sold Gendry off for silver?

I think people are being too harsh on Daenerys for executing the Tarlys. She doesn't need a Sons of the Harpy in Westeros. She learned her lesson of being too compassionate towards disloyal subjects and listening to her soft advisors in Mereen. The point of the whole Mereen arc was to have her learn how to rule before coming to Westeros, where she would be viewed as a foreign invader and would not have the benefit of an entire country loving her from the start like the freed slaves did in Slavers' Bay. People bashed on her then for being immature, indecisive, and so forth. That was the point. Mereen was her testing grounds. Now she's in Westeros and will not make those mistakes again. Besides, people cheered Jon Snow for executing Olly, even though Olly's parents were murdered and eaten by the wildlings who Jon was now allying with.
