He actually got the first Dark Souls question right. The ring you can start with that lets you talk to the NPC is the Old Witch’s Ring. The Hat and the skeletons he’s referring to is the Sunlight Maggot, which helps you navigate the Tomb of the Giants. Scwift=Vaati confirmed
