Theon is indeed definitely one of the most complex characters on the show. And he has tried so hard to redeem himself. I'm not trying to justify him betraying the starks, but Robb was his best friends, yet he reminded him (by insult) that he isn't a Stark. It probably contributed to his trying to prove he is a Greyjoy. He redeemed himself of snitching on Sansa by helping her escape . He redeemed himself of running from Euron (on the ship) by going back to save Yara, he redeemed himself of betraying the Starks but going back to Winterfell to help fight the dead... Losing his life in the process. While I hated Theon in the beginning, he really got my respect and eventually love. He went through unimaginable torture and he came through. He died a hero

I personally think that Theon Greyjoy as a character is the best example of how good of a writer GRRM really is. He is his most well written character.

I feel like Theon is the most realistic character in the story being that in reality every human being struggles with ourselves between doing the right thing and taking the easy way out. Nobody is perfect and straight as an arrow like Jon or as relentlessly driven like Dany but we all have a little bit of Theon in us with Reek being the ultimate low for our lives

Great Video 👍🏽 I watched it, because I want to understand the meaning of Theon’s story arc. I understood Theon and felt bad for him. It pisses me off that this character is so underrated and that a lot of people still hate him in the entire series. But finally he redeemed himself in the end. I find it brilliant that you compared the Greyjoys/Ironborn with the Saviors. Now I understand that Theon was actually lucky to grow up with the Starks.

Theon is one of my favourites because he’s so deep as a character and he has one hell of a story in all lights being positive neutral and negative the man can’t say he hasn’t got a story to tell

One thing I wanna point out is jon snow was such a more solid guy than Rob stark because Rob was rude to theon and said he wasn't part of his house and even got mad when theon saved bran saying he could have hurt bran with his arrow. He actually really pissed me off when that happened but jon snow showed mercy to theon by saying he forgives what he can AND called theon a stark! You can tell that meant so much to theon and then he died protecting bran. Makes me wonder if jon hadn't have given him that confidence boost like Rob stark never did, maybe he wouldn't have died defending bran and bran would have been killed before Arya could get to the night king.

I watched John Wick way before Game of Thrones, so when I saw him talking to Tyrion, I was lost and denial when that face looks familiar and realizes that’s the actor who played the puppy killer. He’s so much likable as Greyjoy.

I was castrated in the form of my baby being beaten out of me I too come from a an honorable family I didn’t feel that belonged to that shunned me too and fell into the hands of an abuser and became broken and indecisive..
