I'm sorry, relative's organization works very differently in Mexico, I have never understood the once removed part 😅 I need a family tree explained probably lol we Mexicans only use uncles, aunts, cousins and grand-something (father, mother, aunt, uncle) but no once removed, twice removed, etc... it's super confusing to me

I know stuff because i when though a phase of watching theory and conspiracy theory videos. Also I have ASD making me good at fixating on a subject… Anyway the city watch of the capital existed long before Daemon T, but she shaped them into the Goal cloaks that we see later. Giving them a uniform and armor. Turning them into more effective police. It’s not clear but i think the convicts we see being punished in episode one were already tried or accused. They had a list and delt punishments to detour crime before the high borns turned up for the turney. Or something.

Also there is some controvery around if Daemon said the words “hair for a day” or not. Hightower being a power hungry schemer and what not. Who knows! Motive. It maybe good for Hightower to create a fude between the king and his brother because if they ally they could get rid of the Hightowers.

So I’m just going to through this out there. In the culture of Westeros it is normal for a 12 year old girl to marry is the has “flowered” gotten her period. In the book Danny was 13 i think when she married. Also the kings daughter is like eight and a half or nine at this point in the book they are sort of adapting. Which is why no one is talking about her marrying yet. And the king is 28-30. Can’t remember. They changed some ages. To be clear i still fine all of this very upsetting but we live in the twenty first century…
