This is possibly the best tutorial I've seen so far regarding making this throne, it's easy to follow and to me personally it's so comforting to know you didn't have a clue what you were doing! That made me relax a bit more haha fab tutorial! Thankyou so much xx

I think you just saved me with the pasta maker! My fondant/sugar paste was drying faster than I could make them by hand! Thank you!

haha, yes, super annoying when it starts fraying from dried paste! xx

My husband overheard the audio of this vid and another where you mentioned pasta machines and said to me, “you need a pasta machine don’t you?”. Yes! Yes, I do! Thanks for planting that idea in the hubster’s head😏

Hi. Did you add anything to the sugar paste such as tylo ? Just wondered as the spike on the chair seem to stand up without falling over. Love your videos.
@Cherrycakeco5 жыл бұрын
Hi Sue! Sure, you can add tylo if you like to keep things rigid. The top spikes are wider at the bottom and thinner at the top which helps them stand up a little x

OMG that was far easier than what I did, and it looks a lot better too. Did you do the same for the gnome kings chair in labyrinth I’ve never even thought of using foam core that way, love how you use it on your other toppers too I’ve always just used sugar paste and waited a couple of days for it to dry then worried about how heavy it ends up...... never too old to learn something new 😊 thank you

Thank-you! No Jareth's throne was made BF (before foamcore!) haha but it sure would have come in handy then! Thank-you! yes it's certainly been a life saver for me, I know its lightweight and not going to break! xx

Any chance we can have a video of you doing the sword placement in realtime rather than sped up? Cant really see what you're doing. Especially when overlapping/crossing swords. Much appreciated 👍
@Cherrycakeco5 жыл бұрын
Hi Gary! You're much better off using images of the throne for sword placement, mine are just stuck on, and then just overlapped diagonally on the back. The video would be several hours long watching me put them all on haha it's very time consuming! x
