Having Aegon's series filmed & shown later than the Dance of Dragons series is likely to do with the plot device of the dagger, and the prophecy on it. You can't have it as a 'surprise' reveal in House of the Dragon if you already saw it being made in a different show! As for success levels, I think the one for Jon- and indeed, any sequel series- will fall below what you might expect. This is for the simple reason that it will follow on in continuity from the mostly hated final season of GoT, or at least will be perceived to be doing so. The only chance such later set spin offs have is if GRRM finally releases Winds of Winter and Promise of Spring, and the series follows on from his resolution to the story, rather than DnD's.

@@LeviticusStroudwell firstly if they decide to go ahead with an 'Aegons Conquest' seeing the dagger made (which was actually probably made years before the conquest anyway) wouldn't be a huge suprise it would be a great scene being that it's got so much history with both shows and secondly if they do decide to make a Jon Snow sequel it will have to be from DnD's final for the simple fact that it's target audience would be Game of Thrones show fans not book fans and for that reason i personally do not wish to see it made it's going to be trash...now a younger Robert Baratheon and Ned Stark coming to power in the rebellion would be a hell of a show!

Visenya wouldn't have used blood magic to make an heir or turn their legacy inside out to make Maegor king if she wasn't sure. Aenys being weak could have been ignored with the possibility of potentially suitable sons, especially if Maegor became hand. He was actually pretty good in a more supportive role before gunning for the throne. I'm so excited to see it played out and who they choose for the roles. Visenya is gonna be a tough role to fill.

The legend says that The Nights King (Lord Commander) had relations/married a white walker, so maybe the Night King/whose controlling the White Walkers has Stark Blood and that’s why Benjan Stark retains his mind in death and resurrection. He is a White Walker but he has his mind and isn’t a mindless drone because of his Stark Blood.

It's more than a century before HOTD so it's realistic that in that time frame there could've been some darker skinned people that married into the valeryons line to create the darker skin, thus leaving the possibility that Aegon was light skinned. @@starkiller6740 Aegon has to be light skin. Not all Velaryons were black. Corlys is because he is descendant from a line of sailors and sailors in Summer Isles are reknown. So it's most likely that he was mixed, becaudse his dad or so had a summer isles wife. There's also has to be a light skin velaryon line because we know that Jaehaerys mother is a Velaryon yet he is white in the show as we saw in the prologue (so his mother cannot be black nor can be his greatgranpas Rhaenys and Aegon), and the HoTD characters are white too, yet they marry among themselves.

Aegon's conquest is the show we need. It is talked about in every show constantly. We need to see this. I have read the histories and know how the story goes but there is so much detail that would make the conquest incredibly helpful in understanding how and why the Targaryens ruled for so long. But I would also love to see the Dawn Age. When the children of the forest had Westeros and fought with the First men.... then they made peace and the Andals came in to start war again.... there is soooo much in the histories that is just amazing stories.... I say start at the very beginning or at the very least with Aegon's conquest. My two cents 🤓 Love your channel BTW... keep the vids coming!

I had high hopes for the 'Snow' sequel. Its been nearly 2 yrs (June 22) since HBO intentionally 'leaked' info about it on the internet. This was two months before the premier of HOTD, no doubt to re-ignite the fan base and gauge the response. Despite GRRM's help, approval, & blessings, HBO has found fault with the 'Snow' sequel. I was pleased to learn that Kit & Sophie have been cast in an upcoming period piece set against the backdrop of The War of the Roses. Many GoT fans are excited. It's bound to be a financial success. I hope HBO is paying attention.

I mainly agree with you on seeing the North develop. I am somewhat enjoying the HOTG with the dragons but I’m not sold on the chosen actors (in some spots) I think it’s going to get better but we will see. But yea I want the Starks

In about 10 years, we are going to have a ton of “machete cuts” lists on the internet. The way the Star Wars prequels fit narratively better between Empie and Return, we are going to end up with a “Start with HotD 1-3, now Conquest ep 1” etc

I don't know, I think he seems too cruel. Aegon was violent and righteous, but not especially cruel. I absolutely could see him as the perfect Maegor.

In my opinion the main reason that made HBO canceled bloodmoon and not giving a green lit to Jon snow's show is because the lack of source materials which force the series executives to completely create the storylines.

Could do something about Bloodraven. Would encompass parts of Blackfyre Rebellions, Dunk and Egg, Maester Aemon, Children of the Forest, Nights Watch and The Wall, maybe Lands of Always Winter and such. And, of course, ties into Bran and GOT. Have to admit that GRRM concocted a remarkable world. And the actors who have played some of these parts have added to it (GRRM supposedly told Paddy Considine that he preferred Considine's "King Viserys" to his own "King Viserys"). Anyway, just a thought

Giving the fans what they want would be to fix season 8 with a proper sequel, or a remake of the ending. This show and HOTD don't matter, they all lead to the same horrible ending of GOT.

@@Alejojojo6 I am not a book reader but as I know that first rebellion might have already happened when his journey starts. I got the idea from ASOIAF wiki from their journey to the white wall as the nobles who had previously fought in the first rebellion on blackfyre side were conspiring against the crown.
