It seems you’ve never heard of a “snark hunt”… warning children or naive people of “snarks” or tricking them into hunting them is an old prank played on those who don’t know enough to question it… so when Tyrion said “grumpkins and snarks”, he was making fun of the idea that anyone would really believe in white walkers or any other monsters north of the wall, which he believes are all myths.

Ser Lewis Karoll, famed bard to the Targaryens for many years, writer of the banned classic, 'Alys in The Land of Wonder'. His description of the Queen in the tale angered the Mad King so much that he decided to make her catchphrase, "Off with his head!" a reality. Badly copied versions of the story can still be bought at certain establishments in Flea Bottom, for those wanting an illicit thrill.

Awesome reaction, and you both already have good insights about Queen Cersei and Prince Joffrey.😲 Did you catch how the fossilzed Dragon Eggs are now looking slightly more colorful, then when they were gifted to Daenerys🤔by The Magisterial of Pentos Illyrio Mopatis. As you can see from my Avatar, I have been a dedicated fan for years. I so enjoy watching new "Sweet Summer" Children react to one of the best Series ever produced. The cinematography, acting, costume, set design, soundtrack and most important the dialogue are brilliant. In fact the dialogue and body language of the characters for me was always key. If you don't have your subtitles on it helps a lot especially when they speak Dothraki. The Dothraki language was a created by David J. Peterson a renowned linguist. I believe at one point Dothraki was taught at Harvard. Peterson had assistance from George RR Martin since some "phrases" were already in the books. However, Peterson expanded those "phrases" and created an entire language. That's one of the bits that always amazed me when I first watched. Of course as you already have said about the ups and down, that part is true but its a Rollarcoater Ride that I been enjoying for years. Enjoy, you are doing an awesome job.❤

Hello fellow 🇨🇦 You are never going to be the same again, Sweet Summer Children! I will be along for the long ride. Fasten your seat belts, because you will go thru a Rollercoaster of emotions. Remember, Winter is Coming, and the North Remembers!!! Dialog is critical, I cannot emphasize enough. Great reaction, and you both are very good and attentive. 👍 A suggestion...check out the Game of Thrones map online. It will make it easier to follow, and History and Lore videos on KZbin explain SO much history, but only after you are done a Season. One more tip...pay attention to opening score, and you will know where that particular episode will take place. 😉👍 That's all! Lol Have a great day. 😊

One of the reason Catlyn hates Jon because in this world blood and inheritance is everything. Jon can be a potential political rival for lord of the winterfell and rebel against Rob, she sees Jon as a Threat and also hates him probably because Ned was balls deep in someone else "Allegedly".

I have a very controversial opinion that will enrage many people now, but it will eventually be evident in time, and everyone will pretend like they always knew this. George Martin is a nihilist, so he always makes his good characters get the rug pulled underneath them. People like Martin tend to believe the natural state of humanity is evil, and therefore, good guys are either deceptively evil or openly stupid. This is why he can't let the good guys truly win; if he does, he would have to admit that he is not just an ordinary person in an evil world but an evil and fundamentally flawed person in an ordinary world. This is not a critique of Martis as a writer-I think he's an excellent writer-but a critique of his character.

In addition to killing lots of characters, you also see almost all the deaths. Almost no one dies off screen in this show. So if you don't watch them definitely die, then they aren't dead yet. You will know when/if they do die after a severe injury though.
