After 10 years of giving us the gift of GOT, so many people complained and protested that D&D pretty much said "F YALL". Nebula Nigrim Leonis oh fuck off that’s not what happened in the slightest D&D became too egotistical and self cantered. They were not good writers or directors from the onset, they had a contract from Star Wars and no longer cared about the thing that made them relevant. They got bitter about their racist show being cancelled and it is clear from previous interviews that they didn’t even care about the lore or the history they just wanted to become famous. They didn’t even let George have a voice for season 8 and most criticism was minuscule for the majority of the show. Do not dare talk shit about how this will make them kill themseleves or how it’s our fault their downfall is their own doing
