Stephen Doane technically she only punished the men of the house. And as Arya says in the speech to them they all hand a hand in the Red Wedding they weren't innocent children or bystanders. They actively committed treason. I don't think Jon would disagree with all the perpetrators of the red wedding dying so much as maybe the way Arya did it.

Stephen Doane, I think this may be a false equivalency. Like Jon, she wanted dead those who actually participated in the deed. The difference as I see it, is Arya didn't care what happened to the Freys who were innocent. She basically says to the female Frey that Winter Came for House Frey, meaning the House itself is no longer a power due to the deaths she inflected upon those involved with the deed. What Jon did was not just spare the lives of the Karstarks and Umbers who didn't take part in the BotB (like Arya sparing the females and children who didn't participate in the Red Wedding and its aftermath), but what Jon did that she didn't do (and would NOT have done, imho) is basically elevated the survivors back to their prior standing - which was amongst the most powerful houses of the North. I think if Arya had been in Winterfell when this went down, she'd have sided with Sansa. As for which side is correct, I understand both perspectives. However, the real conflict as I see it is about timing. Many want to blame Sansa for speaking up at the meeting, supposedly undermining Jon's authority. But to me, this is simply another example of Jon getting something in his head and just charging ahead full steam without discussing it with others (besides probably Davos). Had he truly wanted to be inclusive to Sansa, he would have given her the heads up for what he was planning to do which would have allowed her to express her concerns privately and then if he still felt the same then shut further conversation down by telling her his ruling on this topic was final, which she would have accepted as she did at the actual meeting. Sansa is correct. Jon needs to be smarter.

Regarding Littlefinger's fall - Sandor Clegane (I'm not calling him the Hound, he isn't the Hound anymore) is also heading North. Bear in mind he saved Sansa's life during the riots in King's Landing in Season 2 before he disappeared, so she has reason to trust him. AND, he's one of the few people who was in the room when Littlefinger betrayed Ned back in Season 1. Given he's on a redemptive journey trying to make up for past wrongs (like capturing Sansa in Season 1, and doing nothing to stop the Lannisters) I really can't see him keeping quiet about Littlefinger.

Actually guys Dragonstone wasn't where Aegon first touched down in Westeros it's King's Landing. Dragonstone is where Aegon's ancestors fled to when they first left the Valyrian Freehold just before the Doom of Valyria. Dragonstone was already an established Targaryen Ancestral home by the time Aegon and his sister's where born.

Heather Stanley it's somewhat possible that the prophecy is referring to Margaery Tyrell. Think about it: It seems cersei holds very few things dear -- her children (perhaps most of all), Jaimie and Power. it is strongly implied that Olenna orchestrated the little asshole Joffrey's death by poison. Further, tommen was infatuated with Margaery and his suicide was likely partially caused by her death. So she took away her children in a sense. That said I think its far more likely to refer to Dany. For one, Myrcella wasn't killed by Margaery at all. Plus other reasons. So my comment is kinda pointless really loool

The timing of the release of this is excellent. Right before the next episode but enough time after the release of the episode being broken down so people can process all the in depth analysis.
