A dwarf walked into a brothel with a honeycomb and a jackass. The matron inquired and the dwarf said he would trade the jackass for a night with a whore. The matron agrees. The dwarf then said he would trade the honeycomb for some food. The matron asked, why not just eat the honeycomb? The dwarf said, the same reason I wanted to trade the jackass for a night with a whore. I'm tired of eating honeycomb every night.

I almost got the feeling that Tyrion's talk with Jon was born from him finding Jamie and Cerci's bodies. He sees history repeating itself and is trying like hell to prevent it. Almost like he had gone over it again and again through the years watching his family.
