Does that mean she's the rightful air to the throne in winterfell???
@IceDragon9787 жыл бұрын
She's the oldest Stark who's capable and willing to be the leader of Winterfell, so yes. She should be Warden of the North/Queen in the North/Lady Stark. But the North needs Jon, he's the only one who truly comprehends the threat they're facing. Everyone else either doesn't believe him or doesn't get it, and so they wouldn't plan in a way that would give them even a remote chance of survival.
@dtho62317 жыл бұрын
Will if John was really legitimized as Rhaegar son then he is the true king of westeros which means he can decide who the warden of the north is.

I truly love the fact that Jaime convinced Cersei to use poison rather than try to humiliate Olenna. That gives the Queen of Thorns one last thorn to jab into Cersei's mind: the fact that she used a painless poison to kill the woman that gave such a horrible death to her own son.

I'm not sure if this is been mentioned, but one thing I feel like people have missed his Tyrion used wildfire at the battle of the Blackwater to defeat stannis's ships. This is the battle where Davos's son was killed... I feel like Davos would have a little more animosity towards Tyrion.
@Geobadger347 жыл бұрын
That was war and Davos understands that. Tyrion accepted alliance with Ellaria after she murdered his niece in cold blood.

Seriously? Not be mad about that? it was his son, if that was the case then why was he mad about Mellisandra burning Shereen? Davos is crazy that all I know...one minute he tell Stanis black magic is bad the other he wants Mel to resurrect Jon using the same black magic...
@GemmaJohnshat7 жыл бұрын
I totally forgot about the fact that Tyrion burned most of that fleet. I wonder if Tyrion remembers and regrets the wildfire by episode 4 when it's the Lannister Army burning. Geobadger34 Shireen has been killed for war's sake. Davos didn't seem so understanding.

About the pronunciation of Medici. There's reason for confusion. In the Italian language, this "c" would be pronounced "ch". However, this family was Spanish. The "c" would be soft. A large territory in Italy was ruled and inhabited by Spain and tolerated/accepted by the Vatican as the latter's army could not adequately defend against the French, the Moors, etc. The inhabitants of this Spanish territory kept their heritage and were very influential...the Medici family for one. Catherine Medici (married the King of France) has correctly been recorded as Italian since she is from Italy but also correctly as Spanish. Also, the Borgias family as many others.

Riding a horse into a building is not a nod to Tywin. Its been done before in other medieval films. In the film adaptation of Camelot, Lancelot did it as part of his knighthood ceremony. Perhaps it was a medieval tradition to honor an achievement, something like a Roman triumph.
@elliemorrow53067 жыл бұрын
I also noticed that Cersei used those exact words talking to Ellaria as after Myrcella's death. I thought it was a play on how Cersei views death and how she really wants Ellaria to feel the exact same way she felt after Myrcella's death (hence, recreating Mrycella's death with Tyene).

Just because the gold is mined out, Casterly Rock is not useless. It is still an impenetrable fortress which can be easily defended with a minimum of troops. I envision the Lannister's sending an army to lay siege. Attempting to contain the Unsullied. Then out of nowhere, here comes the Dathraki from behind. Leaving no avenues of escape for the Lannister forces. Meanwhile the Unsullied would be attacking from their fortress.

I am pretty confused. Most fans are predicting Jon (as Ice) and Dany (as fire), is the song of Ice of fire. And they will eventually end the long night. However, actually if that happens that will be song of fire and fire, believing Jon is Rhaegar's son. He is a Targaryen/Blackfyre in that case. I believe Jon alone is the true song of Ice and Fire because he is the son of Lyanna (Ice) and Rhaegar (Fire). In that case, I think Dany will die eventually while saving the Westeros from whitewalkers and Jon will survive. That may also point to the fact of bittersweet ending mentioned by GRRM
