I am so glad to see somebody give a mostly overall positive review of the episode. So many people have issues with Jon riding a dragon so quickly and the pacing. But I understand with such a short season they need to speed up a bit. I thought it was a wonderful opener for the season and I can’t wait till next week! Thank you.

Honestly I had no problem with the pacing this episode. I've had some thoughts about the pacing for past seasons but not this one so far. I think Jon riding the dragon was timed as well as it could be. Happy you enjoyed my thoughts though Cathy!! I'm equally HYPED for next week as well!! :D

Excellent video! And I want to give a shout out to Robett Glover, the guy who served the Starks, then the Bolton's, then refused to help the Starks retake Winterfell, then swore to Jon Snow as King of the North now as of season 8 refuses to pledge his men to the battle against the Night Kings army. The North may remember but House Glover does not!

Good to hear you're back from your long 'sleep'. - That symbol appears in several previous episodes, right under your nose. Other than it being the pattern, seen from above, after the Fist of the First Men, it also seen above Three Eyed Cave when Bran & co arrive. Then it is seen when we find out who create NK. Also, it's there when Bran & NK meet. - Look closely at the Targ sigil. It's there, albeit reversed. Image it if there's one half as Blackfyre sigil. Dany still has 2 dragons: 1 black; 1 green. Could this foreshadow a Targ reunification, if Gold Co switch allegiance? - Can't forget they're in the dragonglass mine as well.

Yes, I've heard of the symbol being the Targ sigil. I can sort of see a resemblance but I am a little hesitant in saying that that is the true intention. Regardless you are reigh about the patterns being 'snuck in' a number of times before Bill :)

I think the spiral symbol may have to do with the epicenter of the weirwood net and the roots branching out, but that’s only a hunch.

I am a bar prep course representative and Grad assistant, so I work with bar prep on a daily basis, for my sake as well as the students I tutor.
