@David Lim Bruh Dexter ended after season 4. S5 was pretty awesome, but s4 wrapped a bow on the series. 6-8 was like s8 of thrones at a snails pace. Hopefully the miniseries foes the show justice

The truth is, setting aside all hero worship and all that, Dany always reached for violence when pushed. And Cersei seriously pushed. I’ve heard a lot of people say that the show ruined Dany and that she would never do such a thing. But let’s let the facts show that she ALWAYS did such a thing. And people who named their children after her and this, that, and the other just needed to actually pay attention to the previous 7 seasons to just see that.

Great recap! I just realized that what went wrong this season was not only the rushed transformation of Dany, Jon’s really bad decisions and Tyrion’s character becoming so unwitty, but also the inexplicable “Hollywood” cliches like everyone seemingly tele-transporting themselves everywhere and things being saved in the nick of time! It was all truly so NOT what GoT was excellent for…I guess D&D are to blame but the author’s eternal delays didn’t help either! I hope I at least get to read the real ending in the last book if it is ever released in my lifetime… here’s hoping!

I even stopped reading the books, stressing about which favorite character was going to die next. Honestly the wolf head sewn to the corpse was the final straw. I was pregnant when I watched GOT. One small thing that really gets to me is how Gendry and Arya don't stay together in any capacity. The writers read the fan fiction from Season 3 and decided to make it true but go no further. I agree Arya would deny a marriage with Gendry but why would he not pledge to devote his life to be with her, as loyal companions if nothing else. He's never been a lord but always a blacksmith. He felt at home by the forges yet he is suddenly ok with being nobility? I don't think so. In my ending, Gendry accepts and realizes his mistake after his proposal. Instead offering to go wherever she may go and they together sail out into the unknown.
