Game Pack? Fairies? Infant Kit? My Sims 4 2025 Predictions!

An Arcade stuff pack with a new lot type would be really cool. Might be where I have teens hang out the most when I play with them. I wouldn't mind an infant kit cause there's not much you could give to them like Toddlers and Kids which felt right for their stuff packs.

Fingers crossed for them to fix the City Living/For Rent bug of stuff turning non-interactable but staying in the neighbourhoods in the next patch.. i am sick of all the dirt piles and dishes laying around that my Sims can't clean up 😭

I know that you aren’t particularly a fan of fairies coming to the game in fear and them being spellcasters with wings, but I feel like there’s so much that can be done with them. Visually, while wings would differentiate them, they could have pointed ears as well. However, fairies of folklore were not depicted with wings, so it should be an option to take them off. For the Unseelie (evil fairies) I feel like greyish skin tones, sharp teeth, muted eye colours, etc. would make them feel like a part of a dark decaying forest. For the Seelie (good fairies) we could have more natural colours, but also more mystical colours that make them feel ethereal and glowy, or even natural brighter forest colours to have them blend in. Gameplay wise, there could be a Seelie and Unseelie court (similar to werewolf packs.) where you can rise to power. Or maybe even the ability to become King or Queen of all fae folk, both good and evil. Abilities the fae could have are: Shapeshifting, as they’re known to either hide in the form of animals like swans and deer, or become more appealing to men. Cooking food to make non-fae sims loopy and lose track of time, as you should never eat or drink food offered by a fairy. Killing off crops or growing them. Blinding, balding, colour their hair oddly, taking skills away from sims etc. they do not favour. Illusion magic (not related to shapeshifting) specifically. Spells to make sims enamoured with them, and maybe the ability to kidnap sims (in a simified way that makes it less problematic) as the fae are known to kidnap humans. Changelings, maybe fairy sims can steal other babies, and replace their own in human sims households. Going off of modern fairies, a fairy house like in she sims three and maybe the ability to become small. New pranks in the form of spells, as fairies are mischievous. Deals with fairies that can either be bad luck or good luck, and if you don’t fulfill them you’ll be cursed to die Fairies would also age MUCH slower, as they aren’t quite immortal, but close to seeming so. They can also be allergic to iron. I’m not sure if iron is in the game already, but if they add it, cross pack compatibility could be that if you have Crystal Creations and give them iron jewelry, they’ll be in pain. Or it drains their power. Full moons could be a time where fairies gain extra power to smite others. Fairy circles (not to be confused with a fairy ring) could be another way to mess with other sims, as dancing or “harping and carping” with fairies is dangerous and traps you. Of course you could go a Disney Fairies route and have fairy specific talents like Fast Flying, Water, Garden, Animal, Frost, Light, Tinker, Baking, Etc. Instead of a Seelie and Unseelie court it would be talent factions. Of course certain flowers, herbs, and trees could be part of it. Rowan and Ash trees are said to protect humans from fairies. Cutting down a Hawthorn means terrible luck, and that you’ve angered the fairies. Hazel is used to make dowsing rods. Bluebells are bad luck, as they’re dizzying because of fairies, you’ll never be seen again. Picking clover, especially four leafed clovers protect you. The fairy realm/country/land, could be done in a few different ways. One, it could be a beautiful mystical forest with glittering lights and Celtic inspiration and giant rocks and a castle. Or it could go a Hilda route with giant mushrooms and vegetation in a world that doesn’t even seem close to earth with odd pastels and animals. It could also go a Tinkerbell route with a home tree (from the early 2000’s books) or the pixie dust tree (from the later movies.) The natural world itself could be in the Scottish highlands. And the way to get into the fairy realm could be either fairy rings (A circle of mushrooms made by dancing fairies) or a fairy mound. Maybe there could be fairy folklore to discover, as well as a luck system. Their magic meter could be called “Glamour” and maybe they could also have a pixie dust meter for flying IF you give them wings. To become a fairy, maybe you have to eat mushrooms (an adult joke that they can make) and maybe new deaths (along with being cursed) could include being around bluebells for too long, and a banshee could come to wail outside of your house, and if you interact with her, you could could die. Anyway, that’s just a bit of an idea. I love fairies, and have over 60 fairy books in my collection >_

Interesting ideas! The main thing I want is a lot of bug fixes. I used to want cars a lot but now am a bit indifferent to them, but if they add them and we get a fixer upper for them then I would probably love having them added. I see a lot of people still want preteens, so that would also be a big add if they added them. Re EPs, I remember seeing a hint last year that they originally were planning for three EPs last year but they got delayed and the hint/speculation was the third EP as hobby related. So if that's true, perhaps we'll get another EP early this year? The hint may have been from Henford Hen? I don't remember for sure!

Totally forgot to mention preteens but I meant to say I’m divided on whether they’ll happen. Most ideas I’ve heard about them could just apply to the existing kids or teens. Plus adding yet another age group could seriously damage the game’s stability and another one likely often neglected for content compared to adults

@@IronSeagull I'm indifferent to preteens too, even more so than cars, however I have friends who used the preteen mods in the past and they would be very excited to have them added to the game. I hadn't considered them causing issues with the game's stability, if that was the case I would be even less interested. Though re content, f preteens can use clothes from other ages, then perhaps they won't detract too much if they got added. They did already do the damage with breaking the connection between short term, normal and long lifespans (which was painful when it happened). Though the more common issues with teens does make me wonder if they are working on something (i.e. the bug with HSY where only one teen gets tasks & the other bug which is more common now where teens aren't getting their third trait when they age up to young adult). 🙂

That movie is 100% not coming this year. They announced last year that they are starting development. That means at least 2 years til it's done. Most movies have at least 6-12 months of post production, shooting takes several months. They probably don't even have a finished script yet. We have heard no casting rumors or announcements. I wouldn't be surprised if it came out in 2027. Maybe they will announce a release date or a start of production date in BTS. Maybe even a cast.

I still think we will get another expansion around March or April as the timeline was revealed last year where there are four packs in between Life and death and Ep18. I could be wrong, but lovestruck and life and death were so close together. Hopefully the expansion is bands as it would be a great way to celebrate with concerts and singing and other aspects.

I'd love fairies IF they were more like fairies from mythology. Unseelie being troublesome tricksters stealing children, destroying your stuff, ruining your hair, spoiling milk from goats and cows before you even milk them. Seelie being more helpful, cleaning and repairing your home, pampering your animals and boosting the quality of their milk/wool, blessing crops. With fairies I'd like a world based off Scottland, Wales, or Ireland complete with a hidden world based of the faewild to physically explore and not just be a rabbit hole of prompts. I'd also like a world based in Africa, maybe as part of a resort type pack? More cultural dishes and CAS items, more regular masculine clothes too. More focus on bug fixes of course. Finally bringing back refreshes. I'd personally love a complete redo/refresh for Horse Ranch, there is so much that goes into horses, more riding disaplines (dressage, halter shows, ect.) more tack, more coats per breed, ponies, burros, careers (large animal vet, farrier, riding instructor), geldings, more manes and tails, horse tricks like bowing. Horses were the selling point and they got lazy, I don't care how hard horses are to animate, they gave us gamepack quality in terms of content. That's my highly unrealistic wishlist.

@phii463 Any of the three I listed really. It's been a while since I last looked into fairies, those actions I listed were ones I could remember off the top of my head that were mostly Sims friendly. I just don't want a bunch of Disney fairies.

3 ideas for expansion packs i can think of is a time travel dlc pack liie the sims 3 had that's such a cool idea i want to see return and another one is a expension on the evile careers i think there is so much they could do with it maybe they can even bring back burglars. Last i would also like too see a royalty expension For occult, i would like to see something new, maybe make a real robot or cyborg occult instead of just the servebots, and i like the idea that someone else had with angels and demons.

Cars are not going to work like they did in Sims2 or 3, they will be teleporters ONLY. Or they might work like bikes, but even then you are limited to the roads that do exist. And most of the world's houses aren't even on roads! What about Sulani? Will the car turn into a James Bond car and float to your house? No one thinks about these things!
