That's correct. 💯 If we keep supporting these kind of business practices. We can't be mad when they take everything away from us because we bought into it. As long as they're still a disc drive and a cart slot and your game systems. We can correct this. But once that disappears and it's like PC without the freedom because there's only a digital option. It'll be too late! I hope people wake up and realize that game pass is in everything that it's cracked up to be. And learn to see it for what it really is. It means to control and to take away your right to own your games and do whatever you want with them when you're finished playing them. What gives a company a right to tell you that you don't have ownership over the games you bought from them or to make money on them by selling them? They constantly bleed us try of our money just like everything does. So why shouldn't we be allowed to make a few extra bucks on a game that we may no longer want to play? @@ninjacape I stopped caring about Microsoft consoles after the 360. It feels like they been on a decline since. If it's not Gears or Halo they don't care.

This video is spot on. I agree especially with the last third of the video. It really is a shame what this industry has become. I would also like to add that even game publishers that push deves to make "forever" online games like fortnite, cod, apex... Those are themselves are subscriptions. Sure they're "free to play " but lets be honest, theyre all drsigned to make it as enticing as possible to buy the battle pass and you're basically screwed if you don't. All of that being said, at least on xbox, free to play games do not require xbox live or game pass to play at the moment, but they can definitely decide to change that at any point in time. Great video!

@@annythehumanitarian3483 Yup I played Fortnite and dropped a $20 or so into it. But haven't played it in months. I'm tired of those kind of games. I'm also tired of the overly cinematic games where the boss fights are mostly QTE or scripted events. I miss how games used to be. But I guess I'm showing my age. Thanks for watching.
