In this youth football game video I go over my play calling using my Power Wing Beast Offense. This video will outline how I use the PWBO multiple formation offense to move the football down the field and score touchdowns. The Power Wing Beast Offense is not just about the Beast and its variations. There are 36 Beast type plays and about 30 other plays in various formations built around the I and Double Wing Formations.
This Warhawk team went on to be the 2013 Spring KYA Jr Super Bowl runner-up for 9 / 10 / 11 year old Junior Division. This game video is from a KYA Sports youth football game in Keller, Texas just North of Fort Worth, TX.

How do you get your team to learn so many different formations? I understand the plays are all very similar in terms of running the holes, and just ensuring the right positions are blocking to create the different holes/walls/wedge. Just curious if you have a method for getting your team to memorize all of the nuances? I coach in a league and I feel like I would have enough time to get them to remember 6-8 different formations, yet alone the plays that go with it. Thoughts?

This team had been together for about 4 years. So we were able to layer on formations / plays over the years to get to this point. The formations are not that different just running back movements really. The RBs that year had very high football IQs. I try to explain the subtle differences to them and rep rep rep. My play call is also pretty long compared to many coaches. That season the QBs were mad at me since I had such long calls. LOL

I would like more info on your play calling. I always have players that are not very fast.
@coachparker
@coachparker 3 жыл бұрын
If you do not have fast players then trying sweep wide plays are tough. Try to run stretch sweeps just off TE and power plays.

I noticed you don't pull guards??
@coachparker
@coachparker 4 жыл бұрын
I do when i have an athletic guard that can pull and block in open field and a Center that can block and does not need the Guards help. I would say NO I do not pull much, but I have had teams where I pull guards, Tackles and TEs. Depends on talent.

We play against a lot of fast teams here in Miami.

I have to go more technical. I Coach high school football also. Varsity, 24 years. I'm a firm believer in technique. When talent meets talent? Now they have to use technique to win.

@@davidortiz4492 I agree but talent is a must have. You still need the studs to get into the big games and win.
