For the third time in seven days, the Penguins matched up against the Rangers Saturday night. While the 1st was an evenly played period, the Rangers came out on top with two goals. Including a goal in the last 10 seconds of the period. Keeping their foot on the gas, New York scored another goal at the beginning of the 2nd making the score 3-0 followed by a fourth minutes later. Before the end of the 2nd period, the Rangers extended their lead to 6-0 even though the Penguins were outshooting the Rangers by five shots. The 3rd was quiet, neither team scored. Both teams had two power-play chances. The game ended 6-0 in favor of the Rangers.
