FYI: Mat Piscatella (Circana/NPD) has mentioned a few times that Baldur’s Gate date is not reported in their charts. Also, there are quite a few reports that Starfield has increased Xbox console sales dramatically. Most of these reports have come from UK. Great episode as always Scoop Crew!!

Just sharing a bit of a correction. NPD does not have numbers on Baldur's Gate 3 due to the studio not being included in NPD group. It's doing well according to Larian but NPD does not have that number.

Insomniac could make an awesome Dr. Strange game. The portals, combat, flying/gliding, and multiple open world zones-they could also do some awesome spells/magic. The portal concept could get really creative especially if you provide multiple open maps to portal between.

Clarifying the "Starfield did not sell xboxs" it was clarified in a separate post that Xbox was the only console sale that had growth with 5%growth with nintendo and Playstation both losing console sales by 3% for Playstation and 5% for Nintendo. So it technically did move Xboxs, it just didnt move the needle on who was in the lead in the industry.

No, that's just not true. Even The Divinity Original Sin games, which came a year after their PC counterparts did well. If you looked on the PSN dashboard, Baldur's Gate 3 was a top 10 most popular game all of September, and won the game of the month poll on the PSN blog. Mat Piscatella, who releases the Circana/NPD sales data, stated that Larian is an independent publisher, and isn't a member of the Publishers who give data to Circana. Thus why Circana/NPD doesn't report on Larian's sales. And that's why Baldur's Gate 3 isn't shown on the Circana/NPD chart, as they don't have Larian's sales data.
