Hasn't Justin played Yakuza 0? Waaaaay better than Kiwami. Kiwami 2 is also really good! Also, Kiwami becomes that much better if you play 0 first, the whole Nishiki/Kiryu relationship is much more believable in Kiwami after seeing them in 0.

yeah I'm really glad I'd played 0. I thought a few times during Kiwami about how not knowing the events of 0 re: Shimano, Kazama, and especially Majima, Nishiki and Kiryu would have completely changed my perception of Kiwami's story. FWIW it's true of Kiwami 2, which I finished the other day, it's a much better game as part of an unofficial trilogy involving 0, Kiwami and Kiwami 2. The only thing lacking in Kiwami 1 was decent substories, or at least the ones I came across. However the confusion about 'where do I start!?' whenever Yakuza comes up is a bit silly given 0 is the answer to the question.

I am loving Spider-Man. Spider-Man is a game that plays like games from the early 2000s. It's just pure fun. Insomniac found a nice balance between story telling and gameplay similar to Horizon where as Uncharted and God of War have fantastic stories but their gameplay feels too repetitive and traversal is on rails too much.
