KH2 SPOILERS: Since he returns to the islands at the end of KH2, it is implied he probably visited her, which you can imagine would go into a whole recap thing if they did that cutscene. But him reuniting with her is not shown since the emphasis of these games are focused on friends more than family, at least that's what I think, because the events of Re:Coded happen between the end of KH2 (before the scene with Mickey's letter) and the beginning of Dream Drop Distance, so I'm sure Sora had plenty of time to hang with mom before his next adventure.

Fun fact about the Chernabog boss, he actually originally WAS supposed to be the big final boss. The original design had Chernabog be the source of all Heartless and the one behind all of the destruction across the worlds. Nomura changed it to a white-haired pretty possessing another white haired pretty boy. I love this series to death don't get me wrong, but the more I think about it the less sense everything makes.

I only played the final mix and yes it was hard, I had to go level up and get equipment. After that I came back and got it at 2nd try with no much hassle. I was under leveled but then again I was under leveled with other bosses and had no issue. For me it got complicated without summons.

About the sins on Sora's KeyBlade. There is only one of that specific KeyBlade since it is the only one given by the Worlds of Light to a chosen wielder. Even after all of the retcons that hasn't changed. The other Keyblades are basically just weapons that anyone given one can have. Mickey's KeyBlade is the same as it is the KeyBlade given by the World of Darkness to it's chosen wielder, because neither Light nor Darkness want the imbalance between worlds.

All because Disney broke a contract agreement about NOT using Genie for all the advertisements of the movie. He didn’t wanna be the ‘face’ of the movie because at the time, he was the biggest named actor on the cast. He had it put in his contract that Genie wouldn’t be used for all merch and advertisements but Disney did so anyway because of william’s fame and popularity at the time and due to William’s being in another movie at the same time so they wanted to show him off and stuff. That’s why he refused to be in any games, the Aladdin tv series and the second movie. Disclaimer: I am fully aware to not take any of these sins series, but should the really prevent me from criticizing his sins for my leasure, or voice my opinion on things I don't agree with? Sin 26: Even though this is technically true, this type of explanation is mostly bound to happen whenever any series goes deep into its lore. Its similar to lightsabers and Lantern rings. Sin 85: Cloud was looking for Sephiroth not Arieth. 171: To be honest, the Disney elements of this series were always strictly filler so that the game doesn't feel to short. Kh1 doesn't even take too much liberties to make the Disney levels be accurate to the films. Kh2 does it slightly better in terms of accuracy. Sin 172: its a retcon sure, but luckily they use it in a way were the original presentation of it was a misconception. Honestly the better type of retcons unlike the pure ones which originally states 1 thing and ignores it when they revisit it while damning consistency. @@SSlash Can't say much regarding Pixar. But most of things in the Disney Animated Canon that crossover between it's movies are just Easter Eggs for eagle eyed to catch to catch. They are not meant to be taken seriously. For instance, Belle appears in a cameo in Hunchback which can't make the two movies canon to each other as Hunchback is 4 centuries behind Beauty and the Beast time period wise. Pumbaa appears in it aswell as a stuffed warthog but that can''t be canon as it's unlikely that a warthog from Africa would end up in France in that period. Also Lion King's time period is ambigious. Another is Scar appearing in Hercules. That can't be canon as he as eaten by Hyenas at the end of Lion King. I mean frickin' Mickey Mouse appears in several movies both as a doll and in person. Disney's policy on it's Animated Disney Canon at least is most of the movies exist in seperate universes/continuities so as to avoid crossovers and the issues that would come with them all being in one single universe and to ensure the Disney Princesses never interacted with each other in the Animated Movie Canon. Although Frozen and Tangled are in one continuity/universe and could one day crossover as a result.

The general lack of planning as of KH1 _really_ stands out once you're 10+ years deep into the franchise. That and the shit controls, I spent _weeks_ stuck on Ursula as a kid and even longer on the Ansem fights. That said, I think they did as good a job as they could've retconning things, tbh. The Keyblade War was people fighting over light, it was also proof that Keyblades are dangerous tools of destruction, the Dandelions (who were kids) did _somehow_ restore the world(s), and the Keyblades were mentioned to have chosen the keykids in the mobile game. Kinda. Mobile game's translation work _suuuuuucks_ and it's the weirdest thing. Now we just need playable Kairi. Or party member Kairi + Riku. Please.

Honestly some changes I would make to this story is I would have Sora in normal clothes and the regular attire he's known for is an outfit he gets from Donald and Goofy, explaining the goofiness, especially the big shoes. I would also make them completely desensitized to the weirdness of other worlds so it is only Sora freaking out at every little oddity since it'd be cool to have Donald and Goofy (probably Donald morseo) be more professional and help Sora through the craziness of some of the worlds. I would eliminate the 'no traveling to other worlds' and 'no meddling' rules as they mean nothing, Sora, Donald and Goofy meddle all the time and it seems really freaking easy for people to travel between different worlds and even in actual Disney shows we see crossover like Aladdin teaming up with Hercules or Lilo and Stitch meeting up with various different Disney shows. I would show some scenes or have some dialogue that more closely explains why Sora, Riku and Kairi want to leave the islands and it could more naturally set up future games sense Kairi is from a completely different world and Riku has encountered Terra who I believe made him interested in other worlds. You could also work in that Sora just feels this urge to leave the islands to go to some specific place he can't think of, foreshadowing the fact that he has Ventus' heart inside him and it wants to return home so there is a bit more than just some bored kids making a dumb raft for no reason. I would have Ariel be one of the Princesses of Heart, Alice makes no sense and the argument "it would interfere with the movie plot" has no weight since Little Mermaid didn't have Heartless or some anime boy with a key bat. The Colosseum would have characters from previous worlds show up like the Card Soldiers, Tarzan, the Final Fantasy characters, surviving villains, etc, just everyone who is capable of fighting and not just generic Heartless, and I would at least make low poly or flat images of viewers so its not an empty arena and actually feels like a tournament and not just random battles with enemies. This would give some of the other companions more time to shine outside of their own world with the added challenge of having to fight them, making some pretty unique boss fights. For any world that is 'normal' like Tarzan, I would introduce an illusion spell Donald casts on them so people perceive them as humans so its not a plot hole that Clayton just doesn't care about a walking, talking duck. You could even have some fun with it by showing off the effectiveness of this spell by having Sora see a human Donald when he is demonstrating this and you only have to do this once because after that the audience will just assume the spell is active which is why no one reacts. I would have the gang try to use Genie's magic to try and save everyone after he is freed but he is unable to because he can only affect things in his own world and Riku, Jasmine and Kairi are offworld. This would make the characters seem intelligent for actually attempting to use a godlike being to their advantage while adding a reasonable weakness to that godlike being so he doesn't break the plot. Hades and Oogie Boogie would be more involved with the villain's plans and I would make it clear what they are hoping to gain. I assume they think Kingdom Hearts will give them godlike power or an endless army of Heartless but I can't really recall what they actually said their goal was and Xehanort just wanted knowledge (unless that was retconned in KH3). I think one more thing is I would definitely add some scenes showing Sora missing his mom so she doesn't seem entirely forgotten. Imagine how sad it would be when Sora realizes his mom is essentially dead because his world is destroyed and then later (as Dartigan speculated) we can see his mom go to his empty room and wonder why she has a child's room in her house when she can't remember a son and a big part of 2 could be when Sora returns to Destiny Island and is reunited with his mom who finally remembers her long lost son. Plots like these tend to be frustrating because they do a lot of things wrong and some simple thought can fix them or erase things that don't end up making sense.

besides your story changes here's what i would change gameplay wise. i would increase the drop rate for all the materials and balance them so that you're able to synthesis everything up to the 27th item by the time you get to hollow bastion, after you lock hollow bastion and the stronger heartless start spawning the materials required to synthesis the ultima weapons will be dropped by those heartless, that way you can't break the game by getting the ultima weapons early but also it won't be a chore to get them at endgame. i would introduce a unique boss for every world that spawn after you lock hollow bastion, those bosses will be your EXP jackpot to level 100, sorta like the golden biped statue from Nier Automata, and after you beat them and max out your character the 3 mysterious bosses, Sepheroth and Ansem will be your ceiling at this point, that way the squirrel's suggestion to revisit the other worlds would actually make sense. i would make Ansem's level scale with yours so that the final battle isn't a cake walk when you hit the level cap. i would make it so that you can recruit beast, Hercules, Jack and Alladin as well as Cloud, Leon and Yuffie and take them with you on your adventure. i would increase the party count from 3 to 4. instead of you fighting behemoth for the 100th time i would have you fighting different stages of Ansem throughout the end of the world, rather than having a final boss with a thousand phases. i would remove the dark giant from the final boss's phases, you don't need to fight him for the 1000th time. i would add a map with markers on it so that you're not lost trying to find where the next scene of the story is in a labyrinth. i would change the level design by making the worlds bigger with more spacious areas and a dungeon at every world so that the game feels more like an RPG rather than a second rate 3d platformer with bad obstacle courses.

I have absolutely no problem against this video, but you have to remember that this game has an E rating and has Final Fantasy characters talking to Disney characters. Some of the sins you give because of a "realism" factor when the game was never intended to be realistic at all. That's whats magical about this game Kids can play it but I'd say it's more aimed at the teen to adult range. And not to be nitpicky but the scene where Riku wakes up in Hollow Bastion, I wouldn't say that adds nothing. For a new time player that clears up what happened to Riku after the destruction of Destiny Islands instead of leaving them in the Dark.

Malificent learned to time travel through xehanort. Monte Logan they’re not spin offs they’re actual games that move the story along. I suggest if you don’t have real knowledge of the series please don’t spout misinformation like this. Also look up Kingdom Hearts a kids game.

The thing with the portals, in The End of the World, is that they are the gateways that the Heartless were using, to enter the Worlds in the game, trying to find the Keyholes. Considering that by canon you're supposed to go straight into the final boss after completing them, by beating the Heartless in those portals you are effectively sealing the Heartless off from those Worlds. Besides Agarabah and Halloween Town due to Pete and Maleficent respectively, this follows through in KH2. Where as in Atlantica and Olympus Coliseum there are no Heartless to be found anywhere. (I'm counting the Underworld as it's own world)

They are called that because they act like feral creatures with no emotions. Althought is doesn't make sense the name since the nobodies are far more better candidate to be called heartless since they are actual bodies with no hearts. So the naming is kinda confusing

Well Kairi appeared on the island mysteriously when sora and Riku were kids. There is a part in the first game where it’s a flash back of this, that there was this new girl that appeared out of no where and they mention she was at the mayors office. For a small island, that’s pretty major to have some random girl/family to appear out the blue. That’s where I believe the conclusion of her being from another world comes from. So it’s not totally random. THATS how they got the idea that there are other places out there and the passion to know and see it came to fruition. I guess at the age they are now is considered the “mature” age to want to explore after years of just wondering. And if they’re whole lives they thought Destiny Island was all that there was, and then to find out there could be more places to explore, then that’s why they are on this yearn to do so and find out what else is out there. A natural human response.

I have no idea why Sora and Riku's first thought for where an unknown girl coming from is 'Another world.' Granted, they're young at that point, but once they've grown up a bit that shouldn't make any sense. Plus, if that's not the case, that would mean Destiny Island is the only island in their world, and they already know about the multiverse because there's no way any sort of civilization could support itself on a lone island like that.

@@Darkgun231 I think I mentioned in my comment that on Destiny island, it was thought that it was just them in the world. That’s why when this random girl appeared out of no where (considering there is such a small population un the first place and everyone knows everyone basically) it was big news and if I’m correct I think that’s why they said she’s from another world. And yes, a single lone island can support themselves with resources only from that island. We do not need external resources from other resources to live in the island conditions are right. And it’s an island, you have the ocean with fish, you got the vegetation with plants that are edible, you got streams for fresh water, etc etc

@@Luna_art_ The idea that Destiny Island is the only island in their entire world is really stupid. Sora explores the entire island in the first game. It is tiny. Furthermore, even a giant island full of natural resources (like England or Japan) would have no way to support a society with modern levels of technology. Destiny Island has modern appliances from ovens and stoves to electric lights. That implies they had to get it from elsewhere because we see no traces of local industry. Without a lot of semi-rare materials that require a complex industrial base to acquire and produce, you won't be able to produce electricity. To make Sora's shoes alone you would need to mine iron and coal to turn said iron into steel. Heat strong enough to shape the steel into tools for drilling and processing oil. Some method of locating an oil deposit in the first place and then extracting it and turning it into plastic and nylon, followed by more tools to shape it into a shoe. Yes, I know the game is limited by being a game, but when the lore is so horrifically tangled, is it any wonder people keep poking holes in it?
