Roxas only gained the ability to use 2 keyblades after defeating Xion. Which happened after he left Axel. So, yes Axel is appropriately surprised that Roxas pulled out two keblades he had never seen Roxas us before

@@sigilbreaker2628 Thing is none of the separate titles are "spinoffs" they all have relevancy to the main plot. Which is why most people say to play most of the games to get a good grasp of the story

That one is up there with Recoded as one of the least main-plot important. All it does is tell us a bit more about Roxas's involvement with the Org. That's not relevant to the main story.

@@sigilbreaker2628 You get most of the context of what the organazations goals are the bonding friendship between Axel Roxas and Xion and the main reason why Riku looks like Ansem in KH2 Days serves as a way to develop Roxas and the rest to more than a superficial level aswell as the reason why Roxas left the organization and Id say that's important. Re:coded is more relevant for it's ending and it's potential connection to the book of prophecy aswell as to give context to what the letter of KH2 ending says. Again most games have a connection to the main plot

Yeah... As much I enjoyed kh3s worlds, the flying and fighting system, the story made not much sense for me and unlike kh2 when sora evolves more and more I wondered how stupid sora became in KH3. Sometimes it felt like he is mentally handycapped now.

You should’ve pointed out how Riku losing his memory of Sora is another one of the many plot holes in the game, since Chain of Memories firmly established that Riku was the only one who didn’t lose his memory from the events in Castle Oblivion.

actually Riku losing his memory of Sora is explained by stating that everyone connected to Sora lost their memories of him when Namine began putting his memories back together at the end of Chain of Memories. It's why Kairi and Selphie also lost their memories of him despite never even going to the castle.

Missed sins and errors... * Axel only last saw Roxas with 1 keyblade in 358/2 Days. * I'm surprised you missed this but Yen Sid said that Nobodies, including Organization XIII, don't have hearts. In the newer game, Dream Drop Distance, it's revealed by one of the Norted that in fact they do. The Nobody characters have even shown to have emotion. * Sora and his party haven't been in The Underworld before. They were above ground in the coliseum in the first game.

11:15 actually while Roxas was with the Organization he only ever used one keyblade as he gained access to the second after he left the organization and had that big fight with Xion. Roxas then attempted to use his newfound dual-wield ability to free the hearts trapped inside the Kingdom Hearts that the Organization was creating only to be confronted by Riku who tried to beat Roxas so he can get his friend's memories back, all the while Axel never sees Roxas using two keyblades, so it's really quite reasonable that Axel is surprised by Roxas having two keyblades

5:30 actually there's a secondary rule where if you do enough damage to an opponent that the opponent is supposed to yield and lose the match, this is also backed up by losing all of your hp when fighting setzer and every struggle match that you go into with sora

Actually you're wrong. Sure when the PLAYER loses all their hp the match is over BUT if your opponent's hp reaches zero they're only "knocked out" for like 10 seconds before recovering all of their hp and fighting again.

I started playing kh1 for the second time last month. I went through the whole game this time. Collected every item for synthesis which took forever, got all the puppies, treasure chests, trinity marks, spent more time in 2 district in traverse town to work on leveling up, doing every colosseum fight and timed matches, completed all secret boss fights etc. It was perfection! The game was an adventure, there was a purpose and a simple story. You were encouraged to go back and re-explore worlds as you gained other powers such as different types of magic, abilities or trinity’s to unlock other things. You had to move boxes, pull ropes or glide long distances like in Hallow Bastion to get to items or to secret entrances. I was excited for kh2 and then... I wasn’t excited for kh2. The game pushed you in and out of worlds when it wanted. You couldn’t explore the worlds fully, everything seemed blocked off. Chests were just... available. You didn’t have to do anything special or gain any abilities to get to them. There was no interaction with objects in the world. In 100 acre woods you can pull on Winnie’s door bell or in Halloween town by ringing the bell and bothering someone until they give you an item. Not in KH2, everything is just a commentary bubble that talks about an object. It just feels really... flat to say the least. A lot of people say the combat made the game but I honestly didn’t like the combat. The game became a button smasher and was passed off as being more “strategic” but it wasn’t to me. Hitting triangle a bunch of times isn’t strategic. There was nothing magical or special about any of the worlds. And omg... the cut scenes!! Why are there so many cut scenes? Needless to say it became really hard to press on through KH2. I didn’t feel like there was an insensitive like there was in KH1, no proud moments like earning trophies in the Colosseum, getting better to go back and fight a harder bosses later or finally reaching that chest that has been mocking you for 7 worlds straight. It went from an adventure and discovery game to an overly cinematic action game with a lot of pointless mini games, stories and characters. It’s a poor sequel that tried to be bigger then it needed to be.

Most of these are spot-on, but the one with the NPCs mentioning the beach; it's mentioned later that the simulation can't accurately reproduce real people, so DiZ cheated and connected the digital NPCs to the hearts of their real world counterparts. Which is why the real Twilight Town gang feels a connection to Sora despite never having met Sora nor Roxas before. Since the digital versions of the people are based on real people with real thoughts, they can and often do behave outside the parameters of their programming.

honestly, at this point it was probably both of them. Braig/Xigbar comments on "that look" every time he runs into Ventus, Roxas, or Sora. He does it with Ventus in BBS, Roxas in 358/2, and Sora in both this game and DDD.

@@MrHandss He doesn't do it with Roxas in 358/2 that I remember, and I just rewatched the scenes before I started 2 - it's with Xion, and it's because Xion looks like Ven to him. Him and Roxas barely interact in any meaningful way for Roxas to glare at him. Most of Roxas' glaring is at Saix and Axel.

One of the things that annoyed me about Kingdom Hearts in general was honestly how there weren't even any npc characters walking around or sitting in the row seats of the Coliseum. Same with Shan Yu having no actual Huns in his army and the Heartless he led into battle was only like 2 regiments. An army consists of at least 10 rows of soldiers. If you go back and watch Mulan, Shan Yu had an entire massive horde. Or why the citizens of Port Royale weren't there and why Tortuga wasn't a level map to travel to. Also Disney Castle literally has no other soldiers or defenders. Donald is supposed to be the Chief Mage like Merlin of Camelot and Goofy is the Captain of the Guard aka the Chief Soldier. But there are absolutely no other classic characters to be the other mages and soldiers, hell Chip and Dale are aeronautic engineers just because they were on the Rescuers. By that same logic we should've seen Launch Pad as the Captain of the Disney Castle Royal Air Force or something 😂.

As far as Xemnas not using a Keyblade.. It's implied later that he can, he just doesn't. For whatever reason. So that's where the sin should be: if he can use a Keyblade, why isn't he the one going out slaying Heartless and gathering hearts? *ding*

Roxas only used one keyblade while he was with the organization. He only used the second after going rogue. Also, the. Twilight Town trio did meet Roxas. Pence helped Roxas look for Xion when she went missing, and all three of them played with him on his "vacation" day from work. Dubbing's harder than regular acting, because you have to keep things sounding natural while matching lips. Ming-Na Wen sounds terrible as Mulan in this too. Merlin was in Hollow Bastian (or rather, Radiant Garden) when it was plunged into darkness, so it's not too terribly surprising that he was returned there. The nobodies only stole the word photo because it was a simulation. It wouldn't happen in the real world, That'd just be silly. Also, Sora's been straight-up killing people since game 1 (the fact that Malefecint came back from the dead does not negate the fact that he did KILL her). MIckey wears the coat to protect him when he uses the Darkness portals.

Ik I'm being extremely petty, and I really don't care that much but I'm just gonna say it anyway. I'm only like 2 minutes in, but I still want to correct you on how the nobodies were able to steal the word "photo" The twilight town consists of pure data, and the nobodies ig in a way could be thought of as a virus in said data, so the act of stealing the photos is like stealing/corrupting the data of the photos, and with the data gone naturally they are unable to speak words pertaining to the now lost photos. But then using this as an explanation births the question of if these nobodies stole/corrupted the data of the photos, how would Roxas and the town even have any recollection that they existed in the first place? This is really just the ramblings of a die hard fan who wants to correct any negative/constructive criticism by making up any excuse he can think of, so please, do excuse me.

I know that Malecifent had to time travel that's said during the mobile phone that's vow she was able to come back in KH2. So I know the story. So a few things to point out. Disney Castle's ruler is Minnie. The game runs on a version of the continuity of "Mickey, Donald, and Goofy: The Three Musketeers" where Mickey was just a Musketeer/Knight and Minnie was the royalty. Mickey is just the consort. Therefore he doesn't need to be present for the government to work and it's simple to realize that he went from a boathand to king because he married a princess.

um i might be the only one but the Christmas town outfits are not the ones in the original ps2 version of the game but the Halloween town ones they still wore. so is that a sin remove or not lol i don't know

Kingdom Hearts 2 also starts the SIN trend of "The Villain Lied" trope in order to retroactively dismantle any plot holes that might have happened as a result of anything happening. Nomura carries on with this trope A LOT through the rest of his games.

The world traveling thing you keep sinning When they travel to other worlds, they don’t mean other planets, they mean like other realities, other dimension, a moment of time and space that trap or on the edge of colapse. They don’t choose were to go the are send to those places because of Soras abilities Yeah sure, in Disney movies they all happen in planet earth, mostly, but that doesn’t mean they are on the same “world” and that doesn’t mean they have access to all of that world

Sin 185 - not much of a difference, but the change to Sora, Donald, and Goofy for Christmas Town is exclusive to the Final Mix version. They still had their Halloween Town outfits in the original version.

Sound effects are missing? Yeah, I don't know where you got that info, and same with the ex machinas, idk where you see those. KH3 will probably the same if not "worse" in term of story. But at the same time most of people complaining about KH's story can't handle being a bit trolled and in the dark concerning what is actually happening, everyone needs to be always totally clear on what is happening, like that was the only way to write something correctly. KH story is pretty good actually, there is a lot of foreshadowing and double/triple reading which indicate good planning

I love KH2 and its by far my favorite game but its *very very flawed*. World design is pathetically boring, the story trips over itself at least 3 times in this one game, and the plot has more holes than a large wheel of finely aged swiss cheese.

ANTI- ROXAS the only issues I’ve had with the voice acting was how inconsistent Sora was after 2, that’s it tbh everyone else is fine, you can complain about Aqua not putting enough emotion into her lines or whatever but you’d probably play the JP card and say she does it better when they’re all over expressive usually.

Sora was hidden within the artificial mansion and Namine needed time to reconstruct his memories. DiZ constructed the fake Twilight Town to hide him, as well as giving a memory-wiped Roxas a place to live in the meantime. To make Sora whole again, it was paramount they stayed together. When the Nobodies showed up, Roxas finds them at the gate of the Mansion-- right where Sora was. It wasn't dumb luck Roxas popped his Keyblade, DiZ gave it back to him (more like re-enabled its use I guess) when he needed it. I have no idea how Sora was moved from the fake Twilight Town to the real one after Roxas meets him. Merlin teleported himself and SDG mid-sentence from Hollow Bastion to Disney Castle, so it's not inconceivable that once he arrived back in Camelot it was a simple matter to teleport back out. Don't ask me why Sora needs to find gates if all he needs is to take Merlin with him. We don't know that Donald and Goofy were around before the castle was built. No one treats them as if they know them. Further, we have no idea what the timescale is for the Disney world. For all we know it was only 20 years ago and Goofy and Donald hadn't even been born yet. Mickey's Kingdom must be a peaceful utopia. All the cleaning is automated and the Queen doesn't seem to have any important matters of state to address while the king is gone. My guess is, Mickey is bored to tears and travels because nothing exciting ever happens at the castle. Donald's localization-transformation magic gives them results that are entirely unknown to Donald. He's just as surprised by his own look. This seems to be intentional, but it's unclear if Donald's original spell remains in effect forever, changing them appropriately for nearly every world, or if Donald must re-cast the spell every time they land and cancel the spell whenever they return to the gummi ship. Either way there are a bunch of headaches packaged with the logistics. Where exactly was Sora's name on Santa's list? The devs give us a clear look at a low-res list of nonsense letters and expect us to go along with it. Why not just write out the names? The localization team could have easily done this.

You forgot to add a SIN for how bad Setzer's fan service appearance is. In the original game he would never stoop to cheating when it came to competitions or gambling as he always believed in Lady Luck. He'd never pay someone to win a competition, he was confident in his own skills and if he lost would own up to it. Tetsuya Nomura did him wrong! SIN!

Actually, I believe two times in the WHOLE GAME, someone says it in another order. I don't remember when off the top of my head (and I'm not in the mood to replay all of KH2 to check) when that happens, but I think it is like only twice that it's at all different.
