I started playing Pokémon Masters after a GBL rage session a few years ago, since then I've been treated to some amazing fanservice and production quality. Pokémon GO doesn't even have 1% of the amount of passion put into it comparatively and is just the Pokémon sprites being thrown around by a dev team of monkeys. It's been downhill since the remote pass nerf, the avatar update was the last straw. Niantic's hubris knows no bounds.

I don't play pokemon Go, so I don't know what you're talking about, but in the latest main series pokemon game (before dlc), the protagonist is also designed to be inclusive. Only the haircut and lipstick make it vary between ambiguous and somewhat feminine. Maybe your avatars 2.0 were a reflection of what avatars TPCI wants in their franchise

I'd rather have a muscled dude than a twink teenager. Just sayin. The personalization is really bad and it took high amount of effort to come with a good design. But it's arguably better than a fixed avatar.

Obviously the additions are welcomed, but the removal of identity and other features are counterproductive. Why not KEEP gender and the other base features, but also have the additions without it looking like a politically driven move and without it looking like crap? It would make better sense than what we have now.

And I have no sympathy for this layoffs, but I respect the people who that layoff we tried to protect the damn for telling the truth that customers always right I respect those guys but the other guys I have no sympathy and I hope they find a new job and etc. to you and wailers. I played Pokémon Go for the first time in years to get Diancie for my Home collection. The game is honestly a mess. I transferred Diancie over to Home as soon as possible and didn’t look back. If Diancie was legitimately available via any other means, I would have avoided Pokémon Go like the plague. Even worse, the mythical/legendary rule makes Go Pokémon inferior since you have to touch trade one from the main series just to play in SwSh or SV.

@@MannahSonne Pokemon Go had a free event with "special research" tasks like catching Pokemon and powering them up. You only had to get through four "pages" of the six pages of tasks to get a normal Diancie (the last two were needed to get the mega form which I don't care about since I don't normally play Pokemon Go).

I've been warning people for years man lol ain't no defending Niantic coming from me here. Problem lies with 2 groups: the defenders/bullshitters and those that threaten boycotts and yada yada, but still reward Niantic by paying for in game stuff aka throwing money at Niantic. I'm not trying to be an arse here, but sometimes you have to just say it cold and out right. Truth hurts and it seems like a lot out there ain't ready to handle it.

I was one for the boycott that sign petition from raids prices and everything was going smooth till that stupid go fest tickets and all the fanboys and whiles and few KZbinr pay that darn thing yes it’s there money but there hypocrisy cause to lose the boycott anyway. I am tired the fanboys and whales keep winning this trash game I am a rual area and I don’t have gyms we had benefits for 2017 when legendary Pokémon was a task and yes I got my bond Pokémon LUGIA and he’s massive record i even got sure o miss my Pokemon and soon I will try to come back to send all my legends Pokemon to Pokemon home and then forget niantic once and for all. But now tables had turn and I am happy now the fanboy and whales are crying to lose there beloved avatar well I don’t have sympathy at all I will forgive the ones who persecuted me for the right thing to do, but I have no sympathy for those people who did to me and everyone else. I still boycott anyway like not been playing for 3 years!! We were right and they’re wrong and that must lie on the bed you messed the righteous people you get the horns in the future. But like I say I feel sorry the devs lose there jobs like me the ones trying to fix the problem hopefully they find a better solution and a job for them and the wicked one I hope they change if not they will suffer there actions.
