Two things that I'm still curious about that I don't remember being touched upon in these theories: 1. If the Prototype was working WITH the toys/poor kids to get revenge during the Hour of Joy, why was Mommy Long Legs so terrified of "becoming part of him" when she was caught in the machinery? Was it simply a matter of insanity inherent in the BBI conversion, where Rich's love for the the kids got warped into something else, making the toys more afraid to disobey him (except for CatNap) than not? 2: In the Poppy chapter where you explore Ludwig's house, the radio is giving a news report about a dead kid being found in Ludwig's house. Who was the dead kid? How did they get there? Was it just one of the kids whose soul had already been placed in a toy, and someone was trying to leak Ludwig's BBI project to the public?

I don't think Rich got truned into 1006, the character doesn't match. I did suspect perhaps the player is Rich himself, he decided to retire from the job after being mistreated or happen to sneak out of the factory for cigarette break during 'the hour of joy'. Anyway,they put Rich in the game for a reason.

If only we could know when exactly was Elliot's passing, this would be so much easier. Harley was definitely obsessed with 1006, he frequently test and torture the prototype to 'learn' more of it's secrets. The prototype obviously have the reign over playcare and the upper levels. Catnap guarding the orphanage, Mommy keeping an eye on the Gamestation, and while Huggy is your security for the entrance floor. Mysteriously, Poppy is spared, locked away in her glass case sedated. If she is such a threat, why not secure her in a more seclusive location? We know the prototype can travel easily within the whole facility. So why they have to open the big hatch to get where 1006 is supposed to be? Not to mention pumping the whole poppy gas down below. It really feels like Poppy, 1006, Ollie, and now Sawyer if he's not involved from the beggining already, had their own agendas and secrets, trying to manipulate, use, and lure the player character. Who from the series of hallucinogenic nightmares, have their own big dirty secret and may be more involved with the whole event and Playtime co, than just trying to 'save' their coworkers.

@GameTheory I remembered that before the bigger body of catnap1188 was made they made 1186 bobby bearhug which even tho it was a faliure and bobby could not speak or move properly i think it could have been used as a blueprint for other smiling critters or other bigger bodies. I know this is not realy important for the lore but i think this should be given some attention to because it helped perfecting the bigger bodies and because it is my favorite smiling critter and the most underrated smiling critter.

I saw a whole bunch of videos concerning timelines and things like that, but the bigger bodies catnap actually was made before the smiling critters toy line. The kids in playcare were already exposed to catnap before they started to sell. So was mommy longlegs. Not trying to rain on your parade, but i think sawyer actually returned earlier than the 90’s due to when the bigger bodies were actually made. Still an excellent video!
