This is why I love MatPat and support him for a decade now. In a time full of hate and polarizing positions, he analyses the information that he has, keeps his feet on the ground, doesn't ignore different views or possibilities that the subject may have, and tries to be as fair, balanced and logical about everything. I love how many times he validates us, the viewers. A lot of people who make videos on a controversy say their opinion, and claim it as fact, but Mat has repeatedly made sure that we feel like our opinions will matter even if it isn't what he believes. Thanks man, really made my day to hear that

No. He should’ve kept his opinion to himself. I respect his opinion, but does that mean I agree with it? No. You are absolutely correct about how people should form their own opinions, but they should make their opinions based on what they feel is right not what some KZbinr thinks. Because at the end of the day what he thinks is his opinion and that is not going to change the minds of everyone on the earth.
