Motorfest in my opinion is the most fun. The map is great, the car sounds are great. The incorporation of drag racing is a lot of fun. Horizon 5 has way more cars, but less customization and better physics. Nfs was fun for a week, the customization is the best of the game visually but I got sick of it after a week

I have had this idea for many games, such as crossovers. Remember in assassin's creed origins, there was a Final Fantasy crossover. This kind of thing would be very cool in many games, but as someone else said, it doesn't make money for them, unless it's a short cameo kind of like in assassin's creed origins

What pulls me the closest to FH5 is moody rain drives. I love them in Assetto Corsa, i love them irl and they are very relaxing for autumn breaks from uni papers in FH without the need to connect the wheel and all. The wipers, the rain drops, the everything

That's one thing that has always bugged me is how Ivroy Tower hasn't implemented the side mirror details. I'm just glad they fixed the head lights working properly on Motorfest after not having any lighting detail on Crew 2

BTW, people use the visual effects as an excuse. You can just go to your cars visual effects and equip "original" which turns them off. Your character will still be cartoonish, but it's OK cause you don't really see him/her as he's/she's always in your car.

I can see Motorfest would be best choice because more things to do, Cycles, Fly, Boats, Monster trucks wheel's and having Turbo for all vehicles and bikes would make it best choice for Fun factor. But I sure would hate having to keep changing around the control settings when I want to change out of drifting to normal racing style all the time

I think overall, crew the graphics are more focused on the car. It looks more clear and vibrant than forza. Forza the graphics are more evenly focused between the car and enviornment. Forza has some great details for damage and rain on the car, but it does look much more dull and somewhat depressing compared to the other games. Nfs has good base graphics that are colorful, but the physics and enviornment dont react as well as the other games. The games all look great and we are blessed to have all of these options

Unbound has got the best speed sense just like the old nfs. I’m glad they did it good this time. The map is also good. Similar to underground vibes. The racing feels like its from burnout which makes you standup from your chair the entire race.

Forza definitely has the best physics and graphics of these 3 but it felt so empty and no direction, not a fan of having no meaningful progression and nothing really new brought to the table compared to FH4. Really enjoyed it for the first 30 or so hours but didn’t have the pull to want to play more like old Horizon games did.

Agreed, FH4 was way better then the steaming pile we call FH5. I remember when fh4 first dropped, I upgraded xboxes, had been saving to upgrade to a really nice 4k setup. Fortune island was the most beautiful and detailed environment, the lightning storms, the amazing sunlit or moonlit drives on the beach around the island etc. Ever since fh4 I have upgraded hardware, better 4k display/res and response time etc. Fh5 looks so over lit and dull. I remember I was so happy a new horizon dropped to test out the 4k, resolutions etc. Even more and I just remember being extremely disappointed in how things felt, especially how they looked. I did the same.... I think I invested about 20-30hrs in fh5 and missed fortune island so bad I went back to playing 4. It was just something about the environment, the lighting, the feeling of driving and exploring as the landscape could change from anything from winding country roads with beautiful greenery. To beautiful city or beautiful island driving. Ppl in fh5 got dropped in the middle of a bland dessert with the most horrible horizon environment ever and worshipped the devs like they took 10 steps forward when the put a dull, completely tasteless muzzle on horizon and killed everything that made it great. And instead of creating good content, they paid for names and brands to have notoriety and attention for races vs a well lit, well mapped, super fun map to enjoy. 🤷‍♂️ just my 2 cents that aren't even worth that. 😅

Aside from graphics going to Forza, variety to Motorfest and art style to NFS Unbound, all three are great at different things. They cater to very different racing audience. In Forza racing is great simcade, but NFS is a lot more arcadey and resembles a time when racing games were unrestricted and Motorfest isn't only about cars like the previous 2 game, it also has boat races and aeroplane races, pushing the boundary even further.

Yeah Forza easily beats any car game when it comes to graphics. Ill be honest tho. I actually like playing Crew 3 more than FH5 and I decided to play FH5 again and it just cemented the fact I think Crew 3 is more fun to play. Car customization is superior, car handling is superior, Crew has Nitrous, and MotorFest is more cinematic. Great cutscenes and its even got cool live action cutscenes, and every time you get a new free car after completing a playlist the little cutscenes that plays showing off the car is very nice. Then there the big one for me. Crew has not just cars, but planes, boats, motorcycles, street and dirt, and monster trucks.

Only certain parts of car customization is superior. It has more bumper options, but the wheels aren't even licensed, and you can only paint them in 1 color with the chrome finish. Better physics... get real. Motorfest physics are terrible. Do you want honesty? How about we address the fact that Motorfest online stability is still screwed up with the crew members disappearing constantly every 10 seconds, just like the last 2 games and 9 years? tcm has the best noise for sure, graphics wise maybe not but tcm doesn't aim for that, it aims for fun and festival shows and races, while forza is meant to be that but it failed hard. compared to tcm they properly did the festival aspect of the game imo.

I own all three of these racing games and if you're a true racing fan you should buy all 3 of them as well, NFS Unbound while unrealistic, it's hella fun, and creative, the soundtrack is fire and the game still retains the cheesy cringe dialogues we all love, not to mention, customization is through the roof, it slaps left and right FH5 and TCM, and this is the only game on the list that features cop chases, which can be real challenging, unfortunately unbound has no new game plus and that's what kills the game, because it's too short and once the story is over, you can only do mindless races, also the community I find it to be the most toxic, unfortunately... FH5 is also amazing and I like the handling and the ability to swap engines (unbound also has engine swaps), not to mention, it has the biggest car catalogue, sounds may not be the best, but damn that car list is insane, I like that FH5 goes into way more detail about car parts when modding, way more than unbound and TCM, damage physics are way better in this game too, however, I feel that the progression in this game is broken, you can easily, and I mean easily, get a high powered car in the hundreds of thousands of dollars range within your first day whereas in unbound you would have to grind a lot to obtain it, could take days even, TCM has grinding but it also gives you overpowered cars easily, right of the bat you can get a bmw Z4, not to mention you can just do a Porsche playlist with loaned cars and get a 911. And finally TCM, I enjoy the fact that the game is more lively and exciting about racing, not to mention the map looks stunning and beautiful, I like the sounds in this game the best, I also like the fact that u can do rally and rally raid, monster trucks, powerboating, planes, motocross, use motorcycles in first prison view, and while the game focuses mainly on cars, it's enjoyable to ride a Kawasaki H2 on first person and pushing it to the max, however despite their efforts to make the game more lively, it hasn't totally succeeded yet, traffic and people make NFS Unbound feel like the city is alive (even though there could be more traffic), and people just don't exist in TCM which is terrible in my opinion, this could be fixed with an update hopefully, also, there needs to be way more playlists.

NFS Unbound definitely did the best in terms of damage physics and the stairs test. Look how the fence breaks down into the individual sticks that its made of! Amazing detail! Also props to NFS for actually modeling the bottom of the car...forza just uses a generic underside texture like a game from 2005...

No, Forza should have the stair test one. Damage physics, gotta give that to NFS unbound and in second place comes in the crew motor fest. i think overall through all these tests, crew motor fest nailed it with graphics and they've improved by a lot. the car physics as well goes to the crew motor fest. braking, accelerating, and make a quick stop also. Forza is also more realistic in terms of the natural environment. NFS unbound looks like they've tried too hard on the graphics to get the best looking details but failed. in some places one looks better than the other but overall id have to say the Motorfest got it in most scenarios.

What i love about motorfest is the vibe. Its all so vibrant and colorful and it really gives a good example of hawaii. Nfs unbound is really great too with a similar vibe but its more city themed than nature themed. Forza is also great but its not too colorful look at the beach in forza vs motorfest. forza is the best by far, the car handling is so satisfyng, the best graphics, a lot of cars...just need 2 things, way more speed sensation and more tunning options, i would love a more underground touch too but that is just my preference

I love it when they compare Cru 3 and Forza 5, especially the mirrors, but I don’t have enough intelligence to compare the quality of the interior and the work of the steering wheel... where in the wretched FX5 the steering wheel is still 90% degrees, and in Cru 3 1080.... And both of these games are hackwork, although Kru3 brought more to its series, and not just a reskin fx4...

Havent played motorfest. But I have played FH5 and unbound and I can say that unbound is 100% more engaging and addicting, maybe its because I havent played a nfs game for a long time. While FH5 has amazing graphics, I got bored after 5-6 hours into the game.

Absolutely relatable. I've played FH4, it's pretty much the same FH5. Yes, I do agree that it has great graphics, it's probably the best graphics in a racing game on PC (shotout to GT)... but unfortunately that's the only good thing about it. It will engage you for like 10 hours but then... idk there won't be anything addictive about it. You'll probably already have all the cars you wanted, new repetitive races will keep popping up on the map and that's about it. NFS Heat is indeed a better game but the real deal is The Crew. Motorfest is great but if you haven't played The Crew 2, you should play it first. Graphics still look good now and its open world has the entire US (well, not 1:1, but still), while motorfest has only HI. Whatever you say about Ubisoft, they certainly nail making amazing open worlds that are actually fun to explore. Open world aside, it has a ton of various activities. Hundreds of hours of fun is guaranteed!

I have played all three games and I have to say they all have strengths and weaknesses for nfs the game apis like an arcade and the handling doesn’t have any weight but it has emasculate customization for Forza it has hella cars with great model quality and good engine tuning and looks the most realistic and my fav is motor fest but that’s my opinion what I like is the game is pure eye candy with good car models and a good map location in Hawaii and it has all types of cars

People who say horizon has better physics are tweaking. I'd say horizon follows a more natural approach to handling, and yes, more realistic as you'd be able to tell the difference between fwd and rwd and awd way more easily in something like horizon. It's exaggerated and watered down. It tries to be a mix of realism and arcade not excelling at either. The crew on the other hand plays all of its tricks in arcade handling, don't expect realism don't expect sense beyond a few basic principles, and that's what makes its handling better, it's not in a constant limbo of realism and arcade, it doesn't have an identity crisis. Not to mention cars in Forza slide way too much for their own good, you always need to tune your gears as game can't even automatically adjust them for you. The crew on the other hand just works, and why overall it has the better handling

@@Saikou7896 Have you played FH4? I loved that game and played it to death and was excited for FH5. But it looks exactly the same at first look. I know there have been many improvements like better poly model cars and sounds but that itself doesn't contribute enough to give a unique experience. That's the problem with realistic. You can only improve so much before you reach the diminishing returns curve. NFS unbound in the other is very different experience than NFS Heat. I am sorry but at the end I just want a unique experience. I am not that into looking for minute details and stuff. Just want an exciting racing game with cool cars, unaffordable in real life and a story. NFS unbound gives me that 🤷

To me for a is over the top when it comes to a lot of stuff. Sand is almost perfect in motorfest, while too much in Forza. And guard rails either should be able to be ran through or actually leave dents/tears, and not be able to fly through them like it’s nothing. I will give forza where credit is due though, and that’s with shallow water physics, car detail, and car damage.
