The original GBA was just the best Game Boy. The SP had backlight and a battery but for sacrificing the controls. It was never comfortable and the buttons are much worse. Also I don't like the clamshell design, personally. This is why I never touched the DS line until the 3DS and even then it was meh. The DS Lite was the only one that was not heavy and had perfect buttons. All the others including 3DS and New 3DS (besides maybe the original 2DS) are crap too. I wish the DS wouldn't have 2 screens and a clamshell, the SP did it first and I hate it.

you are wrong bro, gba sp is the goat. buttons and build quality are much better. the original gba is too small, the buttons and dpad are not that good. it feels cheap. It was made for kids, for an adult it's too small. Gba sp is more confortable despite the size and format. Abou the ds lite, the Dsi build quality, buttons and screen are much improved as well, it's the best ds. the dsi xl is too heavy already. The 3ds good models are the 2ds and the regular size new 3ds.
