I really like the Metroid series (though I admit I have not played them all yet, including Dread), but I think the first game was way too artificially hard. I wanted to play through all the games in order, but I gave up playing the series in Norfair because of how unfair and brutal it was ( I played and got 112% on Hollow Knight before checking out this game, so trust me, I have played and had fun on hard challenges before). Thankfully, Metroid Zero Mission fixed almost every problem I had with the NES game (and I actually enjoyedmy time playing it), however the remake doesn't cover up the fact that the original game may be the most unfair game I have ever played ON THE SECOND AREA.

Suggestion for challenge: Can you beat Batman Arkham Knight without taking damage? Rules: If any damage is taken (unless compulsory to progress with the story) you must load up the previous checkpoint and start over. Challenge: The Knightfall Protocol (100% ending) must be obtained and the game must be played on the hardest difficulty.

"Donuts are legally people." *Proceeds to eat a donut after killing Mother Brain*
@Zythria3 жыл бұрын
So... fun fact. You can beat this with out killing anything. But it is not possible in our life time. If you leave the game running for 300 some years NES version at least. Mother Brain will be dead when you get to it. There is a password for that on the NES version of the game. I don't know if that is a thing on the Famicom version though; and with no password and the time it takes to do that being 300+ years (I forget the exact count) even an emulator running at 100X speed would not help. Still, that means you can in theory beat this game with out killing anything; just takes three or four generations to do it.
@autismandgaming45323 жыл бұрын
in case you're wondering: the first 3/4s of the system bricking 300 year password is: ENGAGE RIDLEY MOTHER you can figure out the rest.

19:09 sounds like a cartoon "villain" doing something completely normal while screaming about it to the protagonists who don't care. I love this. Anyways, good lord, well done!!! This took a lot, and I actually felt a little anxious at the Mother Brain battle. You are...crazy in an admirable way that I deeply respect. If only Nintendo programmed the game so that Metroid could crawl (under all technicality, Fusion's opening cutscenes explain how she is the only living thing with Metroid DNA, which in a sense, makes her a Metroid, and if her Power Suit is actually binded to her skin, does that not render her a cyborg, therefore Metroid the cybernetic bounty hunter is true all except for her masculinity and the lack thereof?)
