As someone who was going to speedrun this game at one point I can confirm she actually used like 80% of the speedrunning tricks commonly used when,, well when speedrunning. Even used some less common sequence breaks used for completing all chapters/used if you want to get the achievements quickly. Mostly actually the game plays eerily similar when speedrunning vs. trying to play without shooting with the key difference that coincidentally the fastest way to get through the game is just by hipfiring all the time. Gives a boost in speed when going up stairs.
