Submerging in cold life support fluid inside a small sarcophagus while also hooked up with series of auspex arrays is not exactly fun and strong mental fortitude is required so they wouldn't go insane from sensory depravation. Chaos dreadnoughts are treated the opposite. They are kept awake outside of their sarcophagi all the time, hanging on a life support rack like a lump of meat which is even worse than being inside the chassis. As a result, many Chaos marines views becoming a dreadnought as punishment, especially Slaaneshi aligned ones since they craves all sort of sensation, and the worst thing you could do to them is to take away their ability to feel anything. So most Chaos dreadnoughts would go into a battle with pent up frustration, charging into the loyalist with reckless abandon to make other suffer as they had, and maybe, they'd receive the sweet death they were looking for.

If anything, it should probably be a bit faster. Dreadnoughts are absolute wrecking balls. I do like that the dread was slightly confused as to where he was and what he was fighting, thus relied on another brothers guidance, even if it was more of a "direct my fury". Dread was probably calm to sleepy at the start of things and then progressively became more worked up right up until he saw traitor astartes and then he just went full angry grandpa.

It's actually super lore accurate too. "How do close combat weapon dreads, or ranged dreads that have run out of ammo deal with enemies at a distance" "they find something big and throw it at them". There is a short story out there about a dread going off course in a drop pod and having to fight orks by himself for about a week. A big part of his strategy was throwing boulders at them.

That Dreadnaught is really smart there First he shoots out the hellbrute's arm joints to slow it down anticipating that it will swing at him, since the hellbrute's arm has been shot it's swinging speed slowed down massively making the Dreadnaught the victor of that hittng exchange leading to him sledging the armour off and then finishing it by shooting the main body at point blank
