We will pack Williams Brice no matter the record. Best fan base on earth. In 2006 I was spending time in Clemson. Tommy Bowden was coach. Matt Ryan against Charlie Whitehurst. Fantastic game. BC wins in overtime. I scalped a ticket that day for $5. Memorial Stadium had a crowd of about 65k. Made my way to 50 yard line in second half. Columbia will pack Williams Brice regardless of record.

@@mikebuck421 Sellers still is not a great or even good QB. He is a runner. Had we had a good Oline most of those spectacular runs (for his life) would have been throws instead. Throwing is still a huge weakness in Sellers. Had those runs for his life that turned into scores and highlight reels been throws instead...most of those games games would have been losses. He is a very good college, ad lib, sandlot style QB that did a great job. He did get somewhat better at passing. But he isn't even in the top 10 college QB's in passing skills yet.

@@MikeM275 yeah he’s a freshman dude lmao. He has years to get better. He has all of the measurables you’d want and tons of intangibles. He is smart, powerful, big, fast, elusive, and has a crazy arm, and is generally pretty accurate (65% completion rate). Considering he will likely end the season with 2500 passing yards, he’s on pace to be in the top 10 for career passing yards at SC as a SOPHOMORE. If he has a great year he’ll be next to Spencer at the #5 spot. I fully expect him to become a gamecock legend once we get more talented WRs on the field and continue to bolster the OL.

This take is not over the top - but its not gonna happen this year. In 25 and 26, if we can get more really good talent at WR, keep the great O Line recruiting rolling, and maintain at least a good RB room. Sellers *definitely* has the talent and skillset to be at least mentioned in the Heisman conversation. It will help a great deal if Nyck Harbor can concentrate on improving his WR skills after the track / Olympics thing is done - because if he can rise to the level of his potential at WR the Sellers to Harbor connection could be damn near impossible to stop. Fingers crossed. At least I am confident the D will be much improved this year and we do have a deep and capable RB room. Its gonna be another tough year schedule wise but what else is new there ? I have a feeling it will be an interesting but positive year for Carolina, GO COCKS !!!

With this dudes mobility to scramble away from the line and a good receiver core, I think we’ve got a real chance to have a play action/run and gun offense that could be lethal with a very good HB in the backfield to go to the ground when we need to.
