​@@jakegibson1082yeah the second half play is a bigger issue than the kicker tbh. Especially because it continues to happen. SC gave OU quite a few chances to get back in it, but fortunately for them OU seemed determined to loose this game with all those fumbles. Sellers needs to work on his drop back. You could call it being calm in the pocket, but it's possible to do that while also having a consistent drop back that puts you in the position to hit any throws that require timing. Because he can't hit timing throws, so much of their passing game is based on super long developing routes that leverage his extremely long, drawn out dropback. He reminds me of like a fusion of 75% Anthony Richardson and 25% Lamar Jackson. Got AR's size, but can escape the pocket sort of like Lamar. But he has nowhere near Lamar's pocket presence. There are actually quite a lot of parallels between the Ravens and SC. Anyways it's good hes a freshman because Sellers needs time to develop. He's really got to work on his mechanics and dropback. As well as reading the field better and throwing with anticipation. That and playing more consistent football. Once they have a lead he starts to play super conservatively which ends up backfiring and just leaves the door open for the other team. If they just kept up the aggression they would probably have a better chance of closing out games. But they just don't trust him to air it out in those situations. If he can address those weaknesses in his passing game, he would become a far more complete QB. He's got the physical tools, just needs the consistency and a more refined passing game.
