Awesome Video. great information. Is there a way to not use the collision box and just have the mouse cursor hover over an object and activated the blueprint to be able to change the material? if you are able to make a video on that. it would be a huge!!!!! help!!

Hi, nice video. I have a question: I would like to create a futuristic apartment in which every surface can dynamically change material with a player input. So, for example, I'd like to be able to have a command to make floors switch from a parquet texture to a tiled texture, maybe with a bit of transition animation. Is this possible without creating a BP of each surface, overlapping 10 different meshes with different materials, and juggling their visibility?

help please, I have a problem, I have previously created a minimap and then configured to change BP material, thanks to your contribution "UE4 Changable Materials and Assets ArchViz Updated Tutorial" Everything works fine but when playing the minimap disappears, I understand that it has a "remove all widget" node in the BP_sofa widget configuration to remove other widgets, how do I keep the minimap visible in game mode and continue Does the material change widget work normally? first of all, Thanks

wow great! lets say that I have 4 different couches that i want to change and my BP is made by 4 different scene components (lots of static meshes for each couch). Can you still use multigate node with set visibility? i tried and the result is the ovelapping of the couches. Thx in advance for your answer and keep up the good work :)

at 8:42 I can't find "Set Show Mouse Cursor" Is there a reason why it might be missing from my list?

You have to have the "context sensitive" box unchecked.

Awesome tutorial!! But... what happend if i want to have statics meshes with baked lights? Shadows keeps in the same place and i don't really know how to fix it

How would the blueprint be set up if i the color boxes had sub options, like yellow being the maingroup, and after clicking that, getting 10 options of different yellow to pick from, for example.

great video but for no reason I can't figure to change the material. There are no errors, everything is done as the previous video (I only wanted to change the material, not the mesh). But when I click on the button, nothing happen. Any thoughts?

Thank you for this. I have 2 questions: 1. how to I get the lighting info from chair 1 to chair 2. because I did the swap and the chair 2 is lit differently. 2. I have copied the blueprint of the chair on multiple locations, is there a way to change all intanced blueprint when I press X? I hope my questions are clear! thanks for all your help!

1. Set the light to movable. 2, place all the objects in the sane blueprint.

the player is colliding with the box collision from way far and the widget is also not visible when i play

Done! Did a newbie mistake, didn't turned of the collision of static mesh And the widget was there just didn't maximised the window Thanks! Great Video, Very easy to follow
