I like this format a lot better than the complete N5 grammar since you spend more time on how to correctly use these grammar points. Great video looking forward to が,に and を.

You're literally the best channel on here when it comes to taking lessons from textbooks, and providing easily digestible examples in appropriate level sentences. Not only that, but the way you teach is very clear and controlled. You should be at the top when it comes to subscribers for Japanese language studies.

Thank you so much. To those watching, I recommend that you spend time writing down the kanji's and the relevant pronunciation above it (furigana), its a quick and easy way to pick up some new vocab while getting that Kanji practice in (if that is your goal). This video made it super memorable.

I am 40 days into learning Japanese, I watched this video about 15~20 days ago and was super confused. I just came back to it today, and now understand all of this 1000% really shows how quick you grow early on! Now I’ll go watch the second grammar video and probably become confused again lol! Thank you so much for these videos, they are extremely helpful for me!

It goes without saying that these videos are so crucial and so important to future learners, so thank you for that. But I also want to say that I have been a huge huge fan of FFX/X-2 for my entire life and it brings me insane joy to see how often they appear in your videos, THANK YOU!!!!!

So that no particle had the same use as 의 of korean which im still having trouble locking in on how its really meant to be understood but this dude perfectly explained it in a few minutes, I freakin love it!

Matt. I really appreciate the time you are spending on each piece of grammar. Your other videos cover lots of ground, but this really helped conceptualize with multiple repetitions of each piece’s concepts. Can’t wait to see more like this!

I love this series! Seeing all this out in the wild (ie real world usage) really helps make it stick! Also explaining your explanation of the の particle made it easier to understand. Like I understood the basic idea but had a hard time formulating what noun was being described well enough to translate in an accurate manner. So thanks so much!!

This video was SOO MUCH more clear than the book had originally made it. I loved that you added "real-life" instances in which these words and particles are used, it made it more interesting and better to understand! Thank you so much, I'm excited for further videos on Genki Grammar!

You said we can't use "desu" after a verb, then why can we use it after "ski" ? in the example "Pizza ga ski desu"

If the last noun is the most important, is there any difference in importance depending on the order of the other nouns in the series of の? I would guess it's in order of importance? So 日本の大学の先生です would be more correct than 大学の日本の先生です where being a teacher at a university would be more important than being a teacher in Japan?
@ABlob2 жыл бұрын
It kinda made a bit more sense to me if I also keep the simplified " 's " meaning in mind. It's "Japan's University's teacher" but not "University's Japan's teacher". Japan possesses the university, not the other way around. And what does the university possess? The teacher. At least, that's what I, a beginner, thinks.
