Slow day (week) at work, and the perfect timing for a new Game Gengo video! And this one is relaxing enough lol. I love how watching these videos teaches me so many words, no stress.

Thank you matt! I noticed you did say in the beginning of the video the number of N level word we are covering, you said N1 twice and left out N4 at 0:21

Due to some false copyright claims, the scheduled next Vocab Episode (Final Fantasy VII Remake) has been delayed as I need to wait out some fake scam companies with their claims, sorry about the wait! But just know 2 episodes of Final Fantasy VII Remake are on the horizon! Just waiting on the claim release.

Nice! grammar in context is much easier to recall. also the video being focused on a specific grammar point means you can be more thorough about it

Such a familiar story arc - the love of final fantasy, tech and even DBZ on Cheeze Tv in the early 2000s. In my case though, for better or worse, the "responsible things" won. I started the "self-inflicted Anki torture" in 2020 and finally feel like I'm at a point where I can start enjoying the language I've always wanted to understand.

2 videos like this, 1 2-3hr long vocab episode, and the 10min videos on other stuff(like kanji and grammer) would be ideal monthly content. And a mega video every 4-6 month.

1:14:59 "I wonder if this was inspired by doctor who" Not sure, that would depend on either wether or not the devs went to the united kingdom and ended up watching classic who back in the day, or if classic who was dubbed and broadcast in japan, I feel the second option is by far the least likely of the two. But other than that, I can totally see why one would think that, the time gate animation does remind me a lot of the intro sequence for the 4th Doctor.
