In France we have a little variant called 'les petits chevaux' (the little horses) because we use horse pieces and we have to get exactly on the point before the final zone and then get the number on each part to go up. But I guess no one I've played this with followed that rule because I remember using the ludo rule for that part so 🤷‍♂️

I've only ever played this game as 'Trouble', where the die is in a dome in the middle of the board and it makes a really solid, satisfying click when you press it to roll, so I always associate it with that. Not having the click just feels wrong... almost as wrong as that banana-eating 😆

Sorry has a deck of cards, two slides on each side the board (if you land at the start of the slide, you slide to the end and knock out any pieces that were on it), and some of the cards let you move backwards, so it's possible to move a piece from the start to the end very quickly

Whenever I play this game, we have particular names for the colors based off of pass games: Blursed Blue- Either starts out with bad luck but eventually steals the win or starts out with good luck and goes downhill from there. “Got five 6’s in a row” Green- Extremely lucky color near the end of the game for some supernatural reason. Unlucky Red- Consider yourself boned when you get this color. No matter how hard you try, you get absolutely nowhere with red. Just Yellow- It’s just yellow. Definitely not a ruthless warlord on the battlefield. It’s just yellow. There is also a very hellscape you can encounter called Pass Purgatory. It happens when you need to roll a certain number to move on, but just can’t seem to get it. You may be here very shortly or for an absurd amount of turns. Depends on your luck really.
