the fact that link has animations for all of this stuff such as horseback riding proves that link really was going to be the main character until it was changed

not sure. They've made only one moveset for both of characters. So technically, if link had access to echoes, he would have the same moveset (like swinging the rod in the good direction etc.) as Zelda too. It's like NPC, they technically have link and zelda animations too. Just they're on idle animation and they don't have access to other animations.

It makes sense that this type of hack would work, seeing as this game was changed in the middle of development. It was originally was a dungeon design game that had Link using magic to solve puzzles. I'm glad that they gave Zelda the limelight instead, as the gameplay is more puzzle first, combat second. Her being a magic user just fits nicely. IMO, they balanced the gameplay pretty well because at no point did I feel like it was too challenging. The game gives you the tools to manage your health and magic while giving you creative freedom to solve puzzles and explore at your own pace making it great for gamers new and old. Now I'm just hoping they remake the Oracle games with this engine, since most of the assets are already there.

As a grown man there’s not a single Zelda game that challenges me anymore idk how any Zelda game is hard they are brain dead easy but so satisfying for some reason!

I wonder if we’ll get EOW DLC which would take place before and during the events of the main game. Kinda like in the lines of Bowser’s Minions in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga on 3DS.

You do Keep items to collect from the treasure chest. The 500 Rupees you see in your inventory is a lie to see how much you have, go to a store. And the items you find can still be sold

Actually there's a way to unlock the equipment menu in the game You just need to find any accessories (All accessories unlock it but some might be useless on link) But there is no costume option.

Does the save file where you play as Zelda effect how much of the world you have access to when you play as Link? Would I be able to access the full map if I have a complete save file and do the steps to play as Link, or doesn't game completion effect anything?

No it doesnt because when you load the save it sets the world to the state it is at before you go to prison

The fact that they didn’t include a new game plus that lets you play as link in a completely different adventure is a real missed opportunity.

I’ve been repeating for 3 hours now, and I can’t get it to work, I seem to always spawn into the save file I loaded, and nothing changes. I’m following all the steps, I’ve double checked. Is there anything I might have missed?

Yes you can you just have to either go to the beach where the map unlocks or activate a warp point as link

After you press the A button to clear the text box off the screen, that's when you start pressing the + button repeatedly

I actually found a way to access items as Link. What you need to do is go to a shop & sell some stuff & then buy some items & that will unlock that tab

Yeah, I’m having the same problem. I swear I’ve done it right 3 times now but each time just takes me to the prologue. My game isn’t updated so it’s not like if they patched it it would affect my game. I’m on v.1.0.0

I find this glitch yo be hilarious and awesome. I feel like the meter tanks way to fast even when maxed out. I wanna br able to enjoy the form rather than rush. Kinda wish there was a bed to restore the meter lol.

So you can play as Link but you can’t participate in the story at all because you can’t create echoes or do any of the dungeons. So this is basically pointless

Check if you updated the game by pressing plus over the game in the home menu. If it isn’t v1.0.0 you are cooked
