I'm really enjoying this game, so much so that I'm ranked 3rd in the region on breezy Park. One thing I will say though is that this games drifting technique is very slippery and you can't expect to have full control over your kart at any given time, one tip I can give you is, when you turn, don't fully put your joystick to the side if you don't need to, lightly turning can be useful at times!

That taking will soon change once the korean players start playing. This game was originated from Korea and its mechanics are mostly the same. If you've ever seen some of the pro players play this game, it's crazy how they utilize the drift boost system

I would compare it more to Modnation racers than Nintendo. I am extremely happy to play a Modnation racer look alike. I read somewhere that Modnation racers was developed after the Kartrider series. I am just happy to be able to play this game 😄.

Mario Kart did this so spot-on from the beginning that everything after has been a pale imitation. Still not sure if this has a reason to exists, but it looks like fun. Will try when free.

Mario Kart is casual experience, Kartrider is hardcore experience if you want. Kartrider got shit ton of driving technique, the video didn't show it because its still early. That combined with track design that is very hard and designed so you use all those technique, community for speedrunning is insane. Check out Kartrider speedrun video and tell me you can find the same thing on Mario Kart. Doesn't mean Kartrider doesn't have casual community though, they got them.

Kart Rider is a very skill-based game. Learning curves is very long and hard, yet feel very rewarding.

Does it have different speeds like CC’s? I have been playing yesterday and although I am not super good at kart racing games, I still manage to finish first or in the top 3 of all the races I played.

More over, I feel that the games I played yesterday were 50CC’s since I finished first in most of the games I played. I really hope there is going to be faster speeds or else this game will get bored very easily.

@@platybusbrinbelle5128 it gets faster if you only upgrade your kart. max upgrade and normal has max speed difference of like 50km

I found out yesterday by playing that I was racing at speed 1 which can be changed by pressing Y and there you can choose speed 2 or 3+ which would correspond to 50CC’s, 100CC’s or 150CC’s. But those speeds were locked and can be be unlocked by completing licenses which are a bunch of special events to be completed.
