I love everything about this, and I love the fact that you're genuinely so caring about other people and being considerate to them, Fredrik, but I did want to mention that the jokes about autism made me pretty uncomfortable, just for the fact that they seemed to conflate autism with something bad, or just shitty, stupid people. I'm mentioning this because I feel like you would actually care about that and want to do better, else I'd quietly stop watching the channel. And perhaps I'm misinterpreting, but I hear insults and jokes like this used constantly and try to make an effort to say something when I see it. "LOL SJW" comments don't even bother because I won't be reading them.

I think it's the difference between hearing a friend make an autism joke, and hearing a stranger make an autism joke. They're all friends here so they know each other well enough to know that they mean nothing bad by it. Whereas we the audience may feel uncomfortable since we don't have as much of a personal connection with them. Fredrik would be the last guy who'd genuinely talk shit like that. I mean, if anything a lot of his videos spread awareness about the mistreatment and neglect of the mentally handicapped. Personally, I think we should all just laugh at jokes like that, regardless of whether they actually have malicious intent or not. Because that's just what they are: ridiculous, and such words should have no power over people or weight behind them.

@@Medved725 I guess the best way I can compare it is if someone were making jokes about someone being a woman and that implying that means they're stupid, and then people being expected to laugh at that. It's taking a neutral term that refers to a real group of people who are really affected by this, and using it to insult and demean people. There are better ways to label stupid people; insulting an entire group of uninvolved people is not the way to do it. And intent does not matter when it comes to this. Denying that just shows a complete lack of consideration for how those people feel, plain as that, as well as a lack of understanding of how use of language affects people on a subconscious level.
