Honestly it was a complete miss to not add an interaction with Dracula mori and Alucard. His whole character is just senseless emotionally driven revenge, and as far as I am aware all the time he loses is because he simply can't get himself to get rid of his wife's last gift, their son. WHICH IS WHY I AM STUPIDLY SAD ON HOW HE DOESNT SHOW ANY KIND OF MERCY, EVEN A SIMPLE SAD LINE OR MAYBE A WHOLE NEW ANIMATION WHERE ALUCARD IS CONVERTED INTO A BAT AND ESCAPES (still counts as dead ) WOULDA BEEN MORE THAN ENOUGH.

Dracula truly feels like a conglomeration of mechanics in a way that works. However a lot of people argue wether or not he should be in because he doesn't count as "horror." While you could argue that Castlevania is horror, it makes more sense to say it isn't. But a lot of people never really saw DBD as a horror game. If DBD was more of a horror game it would've made more sense that Dracula was not the Castlevania but an original killer based on Bram Stoker's one instead. Me personally, I see DBD more like a Smash Bros situation, a love letter to all things horror without ignoring weird quirks that come with the genre, like the action horror or comedy horror subgenres. Anyway it's a good and fun chapter, feels like we've been eating good ngl.

My biggest dissapointment is Eyes of Belmont, having the least amount of possible synergies when its supposed to have alot of synergies...yet it doesnt because "time based aura reads only", meaning perks like object, kindred or wiretap, does not work And even if you use a busted fogwise combo, fogwise's aura read doesnt stack, making the whole perk so pointless, might aswell only run it with dark sense and never again :/

The Bat form is not only useful for patrolling, but it's also a good way to keep chase with survivors despite the vision loss. Especially since if you want to use Predator, the scratch marks will be more noticeable. Also, combine that with Medusa's Hair add-on perk to Hinder them when teleporting to a vault makes them Hindered, a combo that really hits them hard.

An interesting perk to try if you like using the bat form to get close to survivors before starting a chase might be Predator since it makes following the survivor scratch mark trail extremely easy. (Predator can be fun on Spirit for the same reason.) Basically just follow the trail until it stops or you hear them next to you and swap to human or wolf form, whichever you like playing as more in a chase.
