Hate to say it but I think 100 percent robotics would be suffice to match the speed of these aliens. Their reaction time surpasses human awareness. It's only by chance that a human may make a kill.

Space Marines are not just normal humans, they are biologically augmented super soldiers, their reaction speeds are already very fast. AI is forbidden in the Imperium, but simple automata are allowed (when more processing power is required they use a human brain in a jar). They already deployed automated turrets in a few missions to great effect. I guess they’re only in a few missions because it would make the game too easy, and this is a tense tactical board game not a tower defense.
